I hope you enjoy Heavensward as much as all of us did. Getting there from the ARR areas for the first time is such an insane jump. It's even a bigger jump when you get to Shadowbringers

Holy shit, I just had this experience too. I kept expecting it to start after I finished the main ARR story, so I ended up marathoning the game for an unhealthy amount of time because I told myself, "I'll log off when I get attuned to the Ishgard crystal."
Enjoy it. Its some of the best story in the game.
Only Shadowbringers beats it right now.
Fun fact: Ishgard was supposed to be featured in 1.0, but it got cut due to lack of time to bring it in.
We should be grateful for that.
Personal opinion so please don’t take it with dislike but that reaction was very underwhelming. At least two reasons behind it, first she didn’t bother doing the arr story and skipped the msq or second she doesn’t know what is happening. Either way try and enjoy this story because hw is one of the best expansions ever done in an mmo.
This game is so weird. I started messing around with crafting and gathering after hitting level 30ish on my warrior. I'm leveling everything together and make the push to 50 as a miner and I hit a wall: finish arr to get your next miner quest. I had completely forgotten about the msq and my poor warrior job. I love it!
