  1. The weapon designs are great but the particle effects for this stage look so lazy/generic. Like definetly suits blm and war. But the previous stage effects seemed so much more articulate. Hopefully one day we'll get less is more and they tailor the particle effects to each weapon.

  2. Are there non-glowing versions of these. I like the look of the Gunbreaker weapon but would rather it didn’t have the glow effect.
Also, as a Ninja main, the ninja weapons are super disappointing.

Edit: It seems I spoke to soon. Is the non-glowing version a different weapon or can it be turned on and off? Or is it the previous step of the glowing version?

  3. This made things easier… BLM rod is a must, both because I main it and because of that dark aether. Zodiark would be pleased.

Might pick up AST, DRK and DRG for similar reasons… possibly RDM and WHM.

  4. Ty for also showing the weapons without their glow, makes it easier to go for ones I won't run full upgrades for. On the side note, bit disappointed by MCH this time around. Its literally two revolvers glued together.

  5. Something I noticed: the small sparks flying off the weapon make them look a lot better compared to them in still images or poses. It's almost like they're leaving a small swing arc every time they move, which I wish weapons in this game did more of. The basic effects arent that impressive, but that spark lingering where the weapon moves is that nice touch to make me farm them out.

  6. Honestly I feel like the weps look better without the glow. Most are the models actually look nice but the glow tacked on just seems kinda meh

  7. Okay, I gotta do this now since the Law's Order Rapier is ACTUALLY more of a rapier than it is a foil, a distinction SE's designers are clearly not aware of. The biggest difference: foils are used in competition fencing and don't have blades, while rapiers were actually used in gentlemen duels (as in where death was a distinct possibility) and had blades.

  8. Seeing these made me appreciate Lux weapons even more. Each weapon was really unique from one another especially the glows. The glows are exactly the same but different colors with the Law's Order.

  9. I wish gunbreaker had previous incarnations of relic weapons like zodiac and anima lol, so limited with the glowies!

Why don't they just add a dye system to the effects is what im wondering

  10. I'm so mad at how much better most of these look compared to the next upgrade, most of these look like they should be what the next form turns into. If they had replaced the crystals with these glows, would have looked so much better.

  11. I love the particle effect, but damn I don't like the base model of the paladin arms. Think I'll just stick with my anima weapon glam. But while I'm also not a big fan of the over designed guard, the Red Mage rapier and Dragoon lance each look amazing.
