  1. I'm still overwhelmed about RP coming from WOW, but the fact that the game is willing to invest development outside of the traditional MMO gameplay loops shows their reach in the gamer market.

  2. The moogle minion dancing thing happens with any moogle minion, isn’t that neat? I’ve seen groups of 10+ people all standing around a ring of different kinds of dancing moogles

  3. I spend a lot of my time with rp in Final Fantasy. The clubs are really amazing. ♡ (We have photographers there too btw!) Theres so many tools for rp and how you want to do it is entirely up to you. ^-^ Makes my character feel more like an actual character than just a number for raids. Giving a character I spend hundreds of hours with more depth is important to me. That being said, I still do all other things too- even things like pvp. It's the variety and freedom of choice I love. Rp is just one of the many very fun ways to pass the time. And time spend having fun is never wasted. Preach discovered Final Fantasy clubbing too, haha. I've been playing since A Realm Reborn and I never got bored doing whatever I feel like whenever I feel like. Very happy! And the dev support is amazing. ♡ That's why we love Yoshi P!! (It is also fine not to like rp of course, but it's really fun for me.) + Aaaand I'm also not married ingame because I'm a Succubus and partners are food only. :b

I'm excited so see you visit a tavern!

  4. Like you said, RP players will find fun even in a shit hole, like in wow (i know the game is on a better state than the start of shadowlands but i hope u get the idea) when people that do RP still have fun doing their thing. In 14 you have all the tools to express your character and do stuffs in a more better way than the orange text in WoW. Is a completely different experience.
Oh also, since u mention the degeneracy of wow, and i think of goldshire with that, in FFXIV is totally allowed to do ERP for those who enjoy it. And it's allowed cause people own rooms or a house to do stuffs like that, so what you do on your own time and with consent, it's allowed. I don't do ERP, not even RP with the random exception of going to a bar for the chill and music (its totally a thing with twitch), but the fact that they allow it says a lot of they logic with RP

  6. Regarding these "Champagnes",
They are called "Realm Reborn Red" and they are celebratory drinks that we can buy during the Annual Anniversary Event of the game's Reborn, The Rising, which it happens every August/September.

  7. Fun thing with the wedding, you can redo the whole thing every year. You basically get a wedding every year that gives all the same bonuses to the invitees. So if you missed the first wedding or became friends after, at the same time the following year you can set up an Aniversary wedding.

  8. 12:33 hence why I still play wow xD even if it's a total S-show we RPers will make something out of it lol. But seeing this I might think about looking around for final fantasy RP, maybe that will draw me in much better.

  9. Other than wedding photographer there also exist player bands you can actually book for such occasions. The first wedding I witnessed they took the wedding party back to our FC house and the band played for almost 2 hours while the guests danced, drank and chatted in our party hall.
