Interesting fact: during Estinien's confrontation, the song that plays is "Revenge of the Horde," one of the songs from the Final Steps of Faith, where you confront Nidhogg for the last time. It's a rather nice touch, and is a reminder that no one knows the dragons quite like Estinien, having been possessed by one of them for so long.
When Thancred was unmade, I was in denial. I figured out pretty quickly how the rest of the zone would go.
It didn't stop me from being wrecked by this zone though.
