  1. Ya know as annoying as some of the dungeons were they taught me to think outside of the box on what was goin on (this was way back when they were new). It got me ready for the troubles of Bahamut and other junk, not everything is so cut and dry. Now everything is a little more cut and dry lol

  2. I really dig what they did to Ultima Weapon. Ultima's Bane was my first EX (because I didn't realize what that was and queued for it…) and we had a nice group of panicking first timers in there that did just great (2 pulls!). I love that fight. I think of it fondly and the rehash captures that vibe well.

  3. Qarn is actually changed slightly. You no longer have to collect the items for the scales, and you can completely skip opening those last two side rooms (with the heads) before the last boss.

    Overall, I like most of the dungeon changes. Yes, some of them have less character, but I think they do a better job of teaching you some of the standard boss dmg patterns, rather than just being filled with annoying gimmicks that you'll never see again.

  4. … It's like an old recipe went simplified into an easy way to make them with just egg, flour and butter… But the taste is not the same anymore… Same goes with the old dungeons.😔 Even though with new mechanics. I miss with bombing slimes. That was fun.
