  1. Doing dungeons is generally pretty easy going. Especially if you have your sprout icon and say at the start that it is your first time in the dungeon, then people will normally be very forgiving and patient.
EDIT: People generally don't stop and take screenshots in the dungeon though. Not sure how people would respond to that, maybe that is something that should be left for runs with the NPC's or viewers who know to expect it rather than random people.

  2. The last joke is that the queue time is really long for DPS and fast for tanks and healers (like wow lol). It's why I have a tank/healing class as well when I first went my way through the game (sometimes I just want to play!)

  3. JoCat videos are spectacular 🙂 He is so funny!
Also, you will do fine with non-npc's. 🙂 When I first started I was extremely anxious about group content, I put it off for the longest time, they didn't have the npc's back then. I think with some runs under your belt you will become more comfortable with other players. 🙂 Well, if you would like to run with non-npc's, I am home most days and I am in the eastern standard time zone (EST), so don't hesitate to reach out to any of us for help. We want you to be comfortable so you can learn. 🙂

  4. There's actually a HUGE amount of female players in FF14 compared to many other mmos, its pretty much an even 50/50 demographic wise, there's tons of us out there and don't worry, we're all thirsting right along with you, you're gonna love some of the npcs you meet later haha

  5. Free Company (FC) = Are literally the same as guilds/clans in other games, tho they are limited to being on the same server/world(in your case being Alpha).

Linkshell = More or less the same as an FC, just without the benefits of one, such the workshop, housing, company chest and buffs..
There are also Cross World(CW) Linkshells, which can include people from different servers/worlds, so as long as they are on the same data center(being the Light data center in your case).
Downside of CWL, is fewer members allowed to join it.

  6. My laptop has that activate windows thing too but mine is a school laptop so to make it go away I have to go to the school and log in on there servers or something but it also goes away for a bit after updates. Also it makes it so you can't like change your bg like usual, like you can't pick the setting the picture sets as ( the fit sizes and stuff ) but at this point I'm blind to it being there unless it's blocking text lol

  7. No need to be anxious about dungeons or normal trials in FF (not that that will stop it I know) the normal content has been made super easy so anyone can play though the story. Even normal raids from heavensward on are really easy too. The more difficult content starts with extreme trials, then savage raids then ultimate raids from easiest to hardest.
