I really hope they announce a monk ranged attack 🙂
They have learned a lot from FF16 development, I am wondering if they will be bringing any elements from that release over to 14.
Metion was an archer in 1.0, warrior in 2.0, dragoon in 3.0, monk and samurai in 4.0, dark knight in 5.0, paladin in 60
In the team, we have a gunbreaker in Thancrade, monk in Yda, ninja in Thancrade and Ryse, dragoon in the elezen guy, reaper in Zero. My guess Metion wont be a tank or a melee class, as they all are already covered so far
For healers, we have Y'shtola as a white mage, Alphino as an arcanist/ scholar and sage, the other elezen guy as an astro, that covers all the healers, so yeah, we wont be getting Metion as a healer, in fact metion always was never a magic user or a healer, this was out of question from the start any way
For casters, we have Y'shtola and G'raha as black mages, Alisae as a red mage, but no one as a summoner, we had a few arcanists, but they dont count. But im taking my guess in that the other lalafel will be the summoner, not Metion
For physical range, we had Raha as an archer for a short period, but thats it, we dont have a machinest, a dancer, or even a bard on the team
Im assuming we are getting a new melee classes that will share the ninja gear, and a caster or a physical range
This is the trend they have been following, in ARR we got Ninja which is a melee class, in HW we get one melee and 2 range, dark knight is the melee and machinest and astro for the range. This makes up for the missing range in ARR. In SB we samurai and red mage, melee and range. ShB too brought a melee and range in gunbreaker and dancer, and finally EW melee and range, reaper and sage
With the other lalafel that will be having a more active role in the team, im pretty sure she will be either the new caster class face if we get one, or a summoner. If we get a physical range, which is more likely not to happen, im just assuming we will get a new team member that will be the face for it, we might as well get this team member, even without the new physical range class
As for Metion, this is not adding up, but im assuming they will be the new melee class. In the oast, Metion was always a face for an existing class, hence way im saying this is not adding up, the only exception is of course with samurai.
I firmly believe they will show female Hrothgar at the first fanfest. Not doing so will only upset the fans, making them think it's not coming with 7.0.
I also hope they announce that they will make more significant changes to Tank and Healers since both currently feel too uniform and less rewarding to play.
I think we'll get a job that will share gear with Ninja, since it's the only job that has unique gear.

I would like to see Beastmaster that uses creation magicks, Hythlodeus to head up the class quests. Whip weapon.

And omg the expansion! I hope the trailer for the expansion is coming- no delays(unless needed and I'll understand if it does)

I predict the next poster job may actually be machinist because A. The new region is based on North America (USA?) and B. It suits the theme of going back out into uncharted (wild west) territory after the initial story concluded in Endwalker.

We’re totally gonna travel back in time. It’s the only thing that makes sense. I’m gonna do some nerd theories and say that Z-mus is probably so strong and something happens and we get warped back into time during the war of merycydia and we get to visit allag. Why else would the new deep dungeon be allagan related. Where else would we go? The new world? So far there’s nothing that ties us to the new world except for BLU. Crystal tower, dragons, world of darkness, merycydia, they’re all connected.
I expect to see xeno giving kissies to everyone
Mmhh maybe a new tankclass, like some parry based dualwielding swordsman or a crossoverbased keyblade swordsman or some other kind of swordwielding tank with a sword, the possibilities are endless

I still think he's going to be a blue mage in the trailer since blue magic is from the new world. And would be great for blue to now come off limited for 7.0 content and onward. I'm coping I know
