  1. I've decided to give this game a shot after watching all those videos about it. Not only yours, but those videos are like everywhere. I myself in terms of MMO am WoW and ESO player. Now, though I find FF appealing with its potential, I have to add that it is too much anime , so people who are not into anime (like myself) will struggle a lot. I am 52lvl smn/sch.

  2. The game can feel somewhat slow in the beginning but the story really picks up if you stick with it. ARR (A realm reborn) is just laying the foundation of the world and then in the first expansion (Heavensward) the story really goes way and beyond.

  3. Fun Fact. "Back in the day" each job didnt have their own LB3s. Each role shard one, the tanks shared the Paladen one, the healers shared the White mage one, melee dps used the Monk one, ranged dps used Bards, and caster dps used that Black Mage one.

  4. Did you know that the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV has a free trial, and includes the entirety of A Realm Reborn AND the award-winning Heavensward expansion up to level 60 with no restrictions on playtime?

For real though it's mega fun. Been playing 8 years. Just search for the trial. Not gonna put a link in your comments unless you want it, then I will. 🙂

  5. In short:
tank LB3: Raid shield (you will almost never see this)
Healer LB3: raid resurrection (rare occasions)
Melee dps: massive single target damage (you will see this a lot)
Caster and ranged physical: not as common, only when there is no melee in the party.
