I love this game and like the devs but they are just not putting the right resources into the jobs themselves. You’d think with as much money they are pulling in they’d do better. Heck, I’d be happy if they do some goofy stuff. I just want them to try.
This Video is one of those that would greatly profit from JP subtitles, as most devs of FFXIV actually don't really speak english and therefore english feedback like this often gets ignored.
Also as I mostly play WAR and RDM this kinda solidfies my intent of adding a Melee DPS to my kit for harder content (I am still unsure wether I want to do the current savages, they just look insane to me.)
I want to know where rpr stands out cause I'm not changing no more mains I went from to sam to rpr cause Sam was the worst during the first tier
Honestly you forgot to mention how overtuned femal AuRa are at the moment. They need to seriously buff the other races because they just cannot compare.
I really think people are severly overexaggerating…
It's not perfect and there are issues, but compare it to other MMO's and FFXIV is probably THE most well-balanced MMO and basically always has been.
People in the community lose their minds over a 1% nerf to a boss's HP meanwhile in WoW there's like 30 nerf patches with 50% nerfs to every skill etc and the gap between classes are enormous.
I don't think the overly-dramatic attitude people have about this really helps.
It honestly feels silly how people overdramatize it.
I'm personally more of a fan of the WoW system of everyone being selfish DPS as far as their burst windows are concerned. Raid buffs are usually movement/healing/damage reduction utility rather than increasing other people's damage, so outside of Bloodlust (which is a big buff that the raid can use basically once in a fight and you have complete control over when you use it) everyone just worries about their own burst windows. Pretty much any damage buffs a class has that affect other people are close to if not 100% uptime and just a bonus for bringing that class rather than a burst window to optimize around. That's how I remember it being anyway. I haven't actually done WoW raiding in several years, so it could be different now, or I could be remembering wrong.
It also allows for individual rotations that are much less rigid because you don't have to worry about your burst windows falling out of alignment with everyone else's. You can have class mechanics that revolve around resetting or reducing cooldowns kinda like the cards Astro used to have that everyone hated because they caused misalignment.
I feel like they have no idea what they are doing at this point. They put bandaid on one thing and few others tear apart because of that. First they were pressing hard on job "identity" and, in most cases, it worked. But now, with more and more classes added borders seem to be fading away and we are moving toward bland semi-working.. abnormation. If not for a dmg buff, most would stright up abandon ranged in favour of melee. Pretty sad, since, aside astro, I love rdm and dnc.
❤Only for fans over 18 year⤵️ Alles sehr schön. Aber zuerst zusammen die Nummern 10 und 1. Eine CountryGirll.Space Brünette und eine andere Blondine. Es wäre unfair, wennk ich 4 wählen würde
