  1. Post moogle quests are nice. I wish we'd gotten a continuation or 2 over the years.

I'll take a weird sidequest over an extreme boss for relic armor colors. Or how they do it in EW. That's nice.

  2. im so conflicted on 2.3 because it has some of my favorite content (Ramuh's story was a lot of fun as is his trial, and Syrcus Tower gave us more ARR G'raha) but also it had Stone Vigil hard which is to this day my least favorite instance in the game

  3. Ah Tam Tara hard, to this day I suggest new people go through the quests involved with it before stepping into potd, I kinda wish that could be replayed in ng+ maybe one day they'll add it.

  4. I remember I was a Spirit Bond person. It's how I contributed to getting our FC House. Selling Materia was very lucrative in those days.

Back in those days I had so much Tankxiety (now it's wall to wall babyyyy) that Frontlines and Hunts were how I would max my weekly tomestones. Anyone from Midgardsorm hunts remember Lordknight Galatea? They were an absolute chad/blight. Good times.

  5. On Ps3, the hunts were practically impossible to participate in. For some reason, the game used to prioritize the rendering of players over mobs. A big hunt group taking on an A rank or world boss like Odin, could mean that the boss doesn't render for you until 3 minutes into the fight.

Tensions were also super high as well. Pulling early, especially on Naul, was akin to committing social suicide at the time. You'd get called out and then a large number of players in the zone would likely blacklist you.

  6. The way I did the Ramuh mechanic was bring 1 tank and three healers lmao. 1 whm and two scholars. Lustrate was percentage hp heal so it ignored the healing debuff tanks got during their buster.

  7. ARGH, frigging Naul is permanently engraved in the "things I don't wanna remember" section of my brain.

At least we had Syrcus Tower to balance it out. It is still to this day one of my favorite raids in the game; too bad it has close to zero mechanics nowadays with the way-too-lenient gear sync.

  8. I love the Postmoogle quests so much so I have a mailwoman glamour for my Warrior of Light's BLU. I've also got the chocobo barding and the Hat Stand (which has a Postmoogle hat and satchel on it) in my house.

I'd love if they made more of those relating to the expansions and gave us more pieces of a Postmoogle set.

  9. Talking about Ramuh EX and the Titan Egi cheese, this was also back when Scholar's lustrate healed a % instead of a potency.

I think the tank/healer received a healing down debuff, so Scholar's lustrate had massive value in the fight.

  10. Really wish you'd do collabs with Xeno on this as the "back in my day" where you'd point out the pervious stuff and Xeno would just rant how bad it was or is now, that gearing mogtalk talk vid with you 2 was just comedy gold
