  1. make your DoT icon larger than other raid members so it helps you see exactly how much time is left on your DoTs. Yes the text is light green compared to the light blue of party members but the visual size difference can help

  2. I’ve seen a few clips of players using plugins to highlight the window for slide casting. While I feel like this makes it a little too easy, something similar to the emote trick currently in the game could be a nice alternative. Just a small icon on the cast bar that blinks on once slide casting is possible.

  3. Community made UI mods are still better and much more customizable, gonna stick to those. Where's my individual chat name colors, SE? Where's my chat bubbles? Until they add those essentials, modding ahoy!

  4. Even on a basic level it's good for knowing when someone's vulnerability stack is going to wear off.

More general to the UI, with the portraits addition for instances, I'd like to see an option that treats them like portraits in old-style RPGs (balder's gate and such).
So in the party frame, instead of the job icon, HP/mana bar, and buffs/debuffs, there could instead be each player's portrait which greys out in representation of %HP, a blue tinge for %mana, buffs at the top of the portrait and debuffs lining the bottom.
Even for 8 player parties it wouldn't take up that much screen space, with 4 rows of 2 portraits.
While not practical for more serious content, it would be neat when doing roulettes and such.

  5. YESSSSSSS, tired of literally guessing if I'm using anti-magic mitigators correctly 😭 I'm supposed to gauge whether its magic or phys by the enemy model ONLY?! I'm fighting a creature!

  6. If they’re never going to give me access to my damage numbers I hope they can accept that I’m always going to install ACT. I want to be able to track my own numbers because a) helps me learn but, perhaps more importantly to me, b) I like seeing my numbers go up as I kit my character out. I guess we’re at an impasse? shrug

  7. im still going to need 3rd party tools for the enemy list, helps me keep my DoTs up when im playing healer so i dont need to cycle through the enemies. or if i sleep everything i can see which ones i shouldnt attack if my allies wake some of them up

  8. This will be nice for PS5 players since they don't get all the handholding handouts that mod using PC players user. Granted pc players still have way more tools that give utlra advantages to them so pound for pound console players will be the alpha & omega master god race in terms of skill without handholding mods but it's nice to see console players are being thrown a small bone to let us see things PC players do.
