I've wanted "just a deer" for ages! Now I just need "basic-ass horse"! It's already programmed into the game as a mount, just give it to me, SE!

What a huge difference 1 year can be…
Last year with FC, everyone lining up, do emote, type gpose press screenshot.
This year with FC, everyone lining up, change 4k, Gshade, Gpose, Ultima preset, turn every effects on, choose best weather & time. Fix those poses, add snow overlay, tint those lighting. Nvidia photo mode, take photo.

That Elk looks nice but I'm more interested in those illuminated trees for some reason.

You are mistaken, that man behind the tree is not Godbert Manderville. It's the Saint of Nymeia. They are completely different persons. Eg, the Saint is wearing (some) clothes.
Luckily that this event always start before X’mas and New Year or else I won’t be able to get those items

Decent enough Cowboy Hat (Anemos / Gaganaskin Hat): CHECK
Stubble for midlander / decent enough facial hair for highlanders: CHECK
and now, an Elk mount. may not be an actual proper stag, but it's good enough.
if the devs would just expand and tweak with the character creator and add a few more decently fitting glams, and i'd say my hope to bring Arthur Morgan to FFXIV as a WoL is getting closer to completion.
