  1. I love that he doesn't like Zenos – I viewed him as just as shallow and boring. He got a bit better as they tried to make his story and motives more interesting, but I really didn't care about him either way. I didn't like any of the options for his fight. I didn't want to fight him at all and would have been happy to leave him there miserable.

  2. I looked up Kakodaimon (The add you have to fight during Endsinger.) – Apparently its originally spelled "Cacodemon". Its Greek for "Evil Spirit". In psychology it means an insane person being possessed by a evil spirit. In astrology it means "Noise-making devil".

  3. Strummer so wholesome smiling at the reveal and through the end. Please make the MSQ some part of your content in the future too, I really enjoyed watching it. Especially the Trusts. 😂

  4. I will say, I hated Zenos until the last few hours of Endwalker. What changed my mind was that I realized he was, as he put it, our "mirror". He is us (the main character) without limits to break and without a purpose. He was handed everything in life, never had to struggle, and never knew a real challenge until we clapped him. He was bored with life and just looking for a reason to live while being apathetic towards anything else. When we defeated him for the first time, he finally found some joy and fulfillment in life. After his revival, he essentially saw us as his best friend and rival. All the things he did were to essentially get us to fight him with everything we had so he could experience that sense of fulfillment again. He is selfish and we are selfless. After he realized that we would never give it our all against him unless there were no other threats for us to deal with, he decides to help us get rid of them so that we can throw down.

Dude turned himself into a dragon, flew to the edge of existence, broke through Meteion's barrier, looked at the Endsinger and said, "But why does it still live?". Who else but your best friend would have that much confidence in your abilities? Not even Hydaelyn had that much confidence in us judging from all the shit she put us through, lol. So yeah, the reason I like Zenos is that in his eyes, he's our best friend 🙂 The villain is our best friend, lol. We fight the last boss being carried on the back of our best friend! I thought it was a really cool twist for a villain.

  5. the option one thing. Hes referring to the comment you start the game with when the merchant asks you basically say I'm in it for fun as the most chosen choice. Also as a raider I figured it was the most true.

  6. "Oceanic server" made me spit my coffee. It sure feels like the edge of creation sometimes on that DC, but boy is the game fun with 5 latency after suffering for years on SAM at 200+ ping.

I had adapted pretty well to high ping, but it's still astonishing how much easier the game is without it. I can't even imagine how anyone lets themselves be hit by mechanics.

  7. The only thing I gave a shit about in Endwalker was Zenos so it felt like 80% filler and 20% fun. Why should I care about sad bird when I could fight Zenos?
