Burnout in FFXIV is something I’ve dealt with recently so after seeing Zepla talk about her experiences on burnout in FFXIV, I wanted to watch and share my thoughts. We both come from WoW, and Zepla has spent many years in FFXIV, so its really interesting to see her view on this.
I’d love to hear what you think in the comments, have you experienced burnout in FFXIV, and if so how do you normally handle it?
Show Zepla some love:

I looooove the WoW PvP system where I constantly have to fight multi-glads selling carries from 1400-2400. WoW PvP and the current SL balance is actually worse than BFA 8.2/8.3 and that is really saying something. Also the balance team for WoW has zero fucking clue, and it has always been that way. At least with CC solo que it is a bit more balanced, and every class can work and hit crystal. In WoW there is about 3 comps you should play otherwise you're trolling yourself (tbh there is only 1 comp worth playing but I'm trying to be generous). Also the argument of "every class can hit glad", yes but it might take you a thousand more games than normal playing a non meta comp. Also let's not forget there is no solo que in WoW and finding partners is the worst experience in gaming ever, even worse than playing league.
I can't unsub, I have a house
Yaaas glamour. My dresser is just about full so its at a point that I have only 1 glamour for most of my jobs, a couple casual outfits and then maybe 2 outfits for my fave jobs >_<. And I understand burnout, I've always played FFXIV off and on through the years. Its so nice that the game is built in a way that doesn't punish you for taking breaks. ^_^
I actually love the fact that I can take breaks from FFXIV (long time player: 8 years) and play or do other things. After Endwalker I enjoyed the hell out of Elden Ring (that was basically a 2 month break, for example). If XIV changed to "the last game you'll ever play", I'd probably quit, I hate grinds for the sake of grinds. Odd numbered patches are always drought patches. As for where the story would go, clues suggest traveling to the other reflections, and I think Azem will be the protagonist or central figure of the last leg of story of XIV until it really reaches its end.
I enjoy the reaction videos here, but somehow your sound seems to be set up in such a way that your voice is a normal volume while whoever you're reacting to is inaudible, OR if i turn the volume up your voice blows out my eardrums.
"How are they going to hype it up?" Am I the only one who thinks this is just the wrong question to ask. A good story should be good. If you want "hype", watch a Michael Bay movie or something.
