I can only imagine a fully voiced Hildy adventure… pipe dream of mine! By playlist I thought you meant BGM where each one can have a different orchestrion you can set on mounts.
mount playlist would be great. I tend to want different mounts when doing hunt trains, where most people get out their flashy mounts, vs when I'm doing story quests and want something a little more low-key, or even for different jobs to fit my glamours without having to lock it down to one specific mount for that job's hotbar.
Also, more stuff for the armoire. I would love if every item the calamity salvagers could recover could go in there, but at least job gear beyond ARR, that stuff takes up so much space.
Being able to add your alt to your friends list so I can mail stuff.
I was just thinking the other day that I would love to be able to set my MCH to only choose from the mechanical mounts, but that would require too much work as it is, so it only rides the motorcycle now. So the idea of a mount playlist is definitely something I would love.
A glamour book, then we have a formalized reason to collect all gear from all content, glamourable at any time.
My single biggest wish for ffxiv: – Enable the companion app to monitor and send notifications when your party fills in pf.
On OCE dc some people wait for hours for savage parties to fill. Such a function would be a godsend!
I'd love for there to be a "Duel Master" NPC that lets you replay all the solo instances where you "Duel" an NPC. Possivly adding a DIFFICULT and VERY DIFFICULT setting.

1: Special inventory dedicated to gathered materials. There are so bloody many of them in the game, having to use retainers to hold them almost forces a player to buy extra retainers.
2: to be able to apply glamour plates anywhere in the world (maybe excluding duties if that's a big problem for the engine or something)
3: To have an in-game catalogue of ALL available item skins so one can coordinate a glamour properly. Bonus points if it includes drop sources for each piece.
4: Be able to save titles with gear sets.

I’m still confused why they don’t have VO during the raid stories!
I want to see them change the UI for debuffs that can be cleansed with Esuna and Warden's Paean. The little blue line above the debuff is not noticeable enough, especially given how rare cleansable debuffs are. People die constantly to Beatrice in the Fell Court of Troia because of doom that people are not removing with Esuna. Given how FFXIV already takes a lot of UI features from FFXII, I think this game should rework how debuffs are displayed to the player the same way they are in FFXII. The debuff icon and name should appear as a blinking overlay on the party list, and perhaps the icon of the debuff can also be added to that player's name or appear above their head. I'll include a timestamped video link of FFXII's combat below. Notice how Vaan is blinded by the blinking "Blind" indicator on his HP, has the dark circle icon next to his name, and then gets hit with the Confuse debuff. Now the indicator cycles through both debuffs. That would add so much visual clarity to cleansable debuffs and would be a huge quality of life improvement for many Bards and Healers.

Some of these are QoL requests and then some of these are just wishes.
1. If they add intermediate hall, teach tanks how to manage cool downs. Or at least have the job quests teach them.
2. I would like a set of glamour plates separate for each job/class. Even if they have the same gearset, allow us to be able to have different glamour outfits for each job and allow them to have their own glamour plates. It would also be nice to have a seasonal glamour plate tab so that I can have outfits specifically for holidays, seasons, and special events.
3. Ever since we were able to swim, I have wished that we could have mermaid tail accessories for when we swim around. This will probably never happen, but I would love this.
4. Love the mount/minion playlist. I would love to have a water mount playlist, job playlist so that I can have different mounts and minions set aside for certain jobs or even just seasonal mounts and minion.
5. We need more inventory tabs. It is so frustrating to see all the available space in the quest item tab and not be able to use it. I have never used the entire space for quest items ever. I don't even think ff allows you to pick up that many quests anyway.
6. I would be nice if we could wear our accessory items in dungeons like fairy wings.
7. It would be nice if we could change jobs in dungeons. If someone isn't tanking well and is preventing the party from progressing the dungeon, we should have the option to change jobs if that person is willing. It would stop us from going anywhere until we had a balanced party again. It could be something a player can request in the dungeon. This is especially useful if we're in an alliance raid or norm raid and the player is struggling with healing/tanking while learning the fight. We can switch around the roles. Or if someone leaves who is a tank or healer. Someone can switch so the party only has to replace dps.
8. Allow us to name our minions and mounts :D.
9. Please add more witchy cottage core decor.
10. It would be nice if we could have wigs or some way to assign hairstyles to glamour plates. Some outfits just look better with certain hairstyles. I would be willing to buy wigs on the MB or farm for them in a dungeon or deep dungeon.
11. We need a better way to obtain houses. The way we do it now is such a pain in the ass. I don't understand why we can't just buy available plots. OR now that we have our own island sanctuaries, we can have our very own home there. The Cozy Cabin can be turned into a house or a separate house can be built there for the player to decorate to their hearts content.
It might take some adjustments to renders and aka take a long while, but something that I wanted for glams is for players be able to choose between a “male” or “female” appearance of an equipment— this is mostly due to the Neo-Ishgard and YorHa gears

My top 5 QoL's in no particular order are~
Dedicated dye and glamour prism storage akin to crafting crystals.
Tail toggle. I was so excited when the moonward fending and maiming sets hid tails so they didn't poke through the cloak… but don't think we've seen it since.
Hairstyle slot on glamour plates is probably the request I've seen most often.
Individual mount music toggles. Most mounts, I'd prefer to keep zone BGM, and so I never end up listening to the mount music of the ones I do prefer.
Un-genderlock the weapon idle poses.

#2 should be top priority five years ago. After playing so many other MMOs and even single player RPGS, JRPGS, etc. it is just an actual tragedy how terrible the party/raid frames are in this game. You're forced to see a boat load of useless self buffs that are irrelevant, extremely critical boss debuffs don't have countdown timers on them, you can't split buffs and debuffs on seperate sides of the frame, and there is just so much wasted negative space surrounding the worlds thinnest resource bars. It's just awful in every way imaginable, and has no redeeming qualities.
The alt account friendly requests are godtier since I have multiple alts and this game is actively hostile toward alts.
