  1. glad to hear from you guys, i started Xenoblade chronicles 2 now with a bit of Ruri's suggestion . Goin well so far and i can probably look forward to 3.
i know im hyped for sunbreak but i cant help but think that the vast majority of the gaming community wont be satisfied with rises content density.

im glad that there isn't as much so i dont get spoiled but i understand that marketing is to get it to people who WOULDNT ususally know about the franchise.
couple that with the critiscisms from the swath of new players from world which was advertised pretty well and we have a strange feeling that gaijin is talking about.

considering the global markets supposed small attention span a shorter more intense advertisement cycle might be better.
if they go back to doing the developer stuff post release effectively talking about content when they expect the majority of the community to be there (safi kulve etc.) i wouldn't worry.
id rather be part of active marketing than the pre-sale stuff.

  2. Yess let's go! 💖 I'm taking a bit of a slow down on Rise while we wait for Sunbreak bc I got all the achievements, which was a big goal I had. I still want to grind some zenny but I'm curious if Kamura points will be any use anymore? Will there maybe be a new research points?

I started trying to make more and more layered armors but got discouraged because I'd need like 300+ outfit vouchers to finish making them all. I don't want to burn out so I think I'll just make my favorites only lol

  3. I would think they've learned from Iceborne that spoiling a game before release is a good thing. We see this with Doctor Strange movie for example which literally has spoiled 50% of the movie by now since they promote new things every week. I personally enjoy that. But sure it is 'scary', but I'm not worried.

  5. I think the MH team is really grinding on the game. Like all hands on deck. Probably since rise launch atleast.
Sunbreak is behind schedule from what my gut feeling says.

  6. I dont mind that we dont get bombarded with Sunbreak News. i actually really like it.
with World and Iceborne Capcom spoiled what feels like 80% to 90% of the Content so it is a nice change. But its still 2 month till release so my fear is that they will just reveal most of Sunbreaks Content a few weeks before it comes out.

  7. I would be happy if capcom didn’t reveal everything for the game like they did with Rise, but after experiencing the launch cycle of Rise, you’d think they would say something about not showing everything because of complaints.

  8. from Zenny to Gill, from Gill to Gold Points, from Gold Points to Loot Saucers lmao
they're trying a different tactic. before it was like every moth or so or 6 weeks you'd get a plate of food. now it's the Family Guy James Woods candy joke with these tweets. personally i think Rurikhan and i are getting our wish, meaning that they're showing stuff but the majority, or at least a lot of stuff will be a surprise for in game. do i think this is a bit overkill with the 3 teasers, including the announcement one, and 1 trailer with 2 months to go? yes, kind of, but i appreciate their intent. even if it's a tad overdoing it.
the gown goats are a lot bigger than the teaser made me think they were and i'm still convinced that the tweeted image with one as a shadowy silhouette implies that they have a status or something, even more so if there is no 4th gen trading for parts to get gear from monsters not in game because we see velocidrome armor in the trailer. if velocidrome is in game why would they have a new raptor that is also no element or status?
a few years ago, can't remember exactly when, they had an interview with top Capcom devs and asked about resurrecting IPs and they only responded with a single IP and that was Dragon's Dogma. so high up in the company, at least the dev side, they want to bring that IP back for a sequel and with that games lore they can change a lot, like will MHW, to make its more pain in the ass systems get an overhaul like how fast travel was a pain in the ass in that game or water being no go zones. they are free to change those things if they want to.
no no no, not just releasing finished game, they also have to embrace the glory of file compression. reduce the file size and you won't end up with a situation where the newest COD can't fit on XBox um what is it now fuck like the current one slim version like if it's the cheaper one it can't even fit a single god dam game in its hard drive.

  9. I just want the new lance switch skill allready.
Ive been training my lance A LOT lately and spiral thrust is a janky skill to use but its the better of the wire skills we have currently, since its the only proactive skill to just rush instead of waiting for a counter, the new skill looks excellent for veteran lancers, its probably going to take maybe as much as 2 min from a hunt just like that.

  11. It’s because they want to get away with giving as less as possible, don’t show anything don’t have to live up to anything. But I got swore at for saying sunbreak is going to be like 5 monsters. “Just wait” it comes out in 2 months wait for what? Lol but now it’s probably ok because of these guys mmmhmm.

  12. maybe i am alone on this but the physical vs download argument is dead i mean are people really going to play rise 1.0 or some other broken games updates make physical releases meaningless also most people dont even play ehat is actually on the disk because ofthe day one patch

  14. There's like 3 main versions of Minecraft. I'm commenting on this because Rurikhan implied that you can get Minecraft on Xbox one if you bought it on 360, unlike the Switch and Wii U versions. however its a little more complicated than that. I don't fault anyone from not knowing though. I find it fun to talk about so hers's a rundown:

The legacy Console versions, which no longer get updates and had limited world size and couch co-op. the 360, Xbone, PS3, PS4, Vita, Wii U, and Switch all at some point sold their own version of Minecraft. The Legacy console versions for the PS4, Xbone and Switch got removed from digital storefronts from the years 2017-2019. Which then got replaced by their bedrock counter parts, but if you bought the original versions you can download the Bedrock version for free, but any Purchased DLC does not transfer over. as of today Xbox one is not backwards compatible with the 360 version.

The Bedrock version which still gets updates, but has Microtransactions, modeled after the mobile version and is coded in C++ Using the Bedrock Engine. Has crossplay with every other platform it released on (Windows 10, PS4, Xbone, switch, mobile). "Bedrock" is the name the community decided on and is not officially acknowledged. in digital store fronts its just named Minecraft.

The Java Edition, the Original PC version from 2011 that still gets updates, has no microtransactions, and better community modding support. However no crossplay like the Bedrock version. PC only, and coded in java, hence the name. Originally named just "Minecraft" until the Windows 10 version got renamed to "Minecraft".

There's other versions not accounted for like the New 3DS exclusive version, the Education edition, and Chinese version. overall though if you want to play Minecraft you just have to worry weather or not to buy the Bedrock edition or the Java edition on PC. you can only buy bedrock on console. hopefully I don't get anything too egregiously wrong.
