  1. As someone playing Elden Ring on an Original Xbox One, I've only ran into 1 issue so far where upon walking up to a large group of traveling enemies a couple of the enemies in the back had choppy frames. But, once I killed a few of the other enemies they became smooth.

  2. Rise's handling of DLC in general has been awful, more in the shop than in actual rewards you can earn. The DLC voices of characters we've not even met feels extra gross, and act as a further testing ground of what they can milk and get away with.

  3. Elden ring is fantastic! GOTY 2022. But frame drop is seriously bad on PS4 bad when I summon spirits in a mob pack or fast paced (vs tree sentinel). it’s reproducible and will cause you to die. Just don’t summon and gitgud i guess , lol.

  4. Ive been playing on xbox one s and its been running well, other then the occasional frame dips around 30 fps. Ive only had one bad frame dip around 10 fps during a boss which is pretty solid for since Ive put in around 35 hours

  5. It’s nice seeing “BEST TALISMAN IN THE GAME!!” “BEST RUNE FARM??!” Pop up on YouTube and knowing from my own hard earned experience that they’re wrong 🙂 YOU CANT SPOIL ME, I’M ALREADY ON ANOTHER LEVEL OF EXPERTISE! You think 1 point of health Regen every 10 years is “tHe BeSt In ThE GaMe” HA you are BABY

  6. The biggest technical issue I had was not actually seeing the death phantoms for blood pools when interacting with them. I think it got fixed with the latest server update, or it just sorted itself out

  7. The world doesn't scale based on your level.
    Spoiler for game mechanics..

Weapon scales much lower because in this game weapons can go up to +25 unlike previous games that go to +10. I have the knights sword with 110 crit and at plus 14 with magic augment it does 151 base damage in physical and 151 base in magic damage. When having a plus 6 in the same weapon it has 120 or so in each. Every upgrade after goes up by 5 or more in higher levels.

  8. I also like to clear rooms, just so I can loot items and not even read them. And if I have to clear the room again, I’m not having it. I am gaijins daughter.

  9. I'm with gaijin on the guidance topic. I like to explore and don't necessarily need quest markers, but when I found out that you can miss or fail entire quests just by going somewhere or doing something "earlier" than intended, that's where I draw the line. No journal or log and then easily failable quests just sucks in such a big open world environment.
