Playing WoW felt like a job or a chore for as long as I can remember. The constant grind trying to get the best of the best just for Blizzard to Nerf your class to the ground, forcing you to reroll. I realized Blizzard only sees me as a dollar sign and nothing more. But I want more, and FFXIV fills the void Blizzard could only dream of. Enjoy the Content?   2. Just a note there are toxic people in FF there are toxic players in any game where people play together. You are more likely to see toxic behavior in FFxivs community in avenues outside of the game. Reddits, Twitter, forums, twitch, YouTube. Mostly when voicing an opinion that is at odds with the majority of the mindset of the community. People have gotten death threats over it. It's because of a vocal minority that defend FFXIV when it really doesn't need it and to a degree that is as ridiculous as it is unacceptable. In game se is pretty quick to crack down and swiftly deals with toxic behavior in game.

  7. In the 10 years I played, I can count the number of toxic player incidents on one hand.
    One where the tank and dps dismissed me for over healing and stealing aggro, one where I was called a try hard for explaining mechanics on T9 on coils, and the rest are pvp (figures 😅)

    Every batch has a few bad apples. Be the better person and help make the community the best it can be!
