  7. On "the AI is getting smarter" in island expeditions. When we didn't wanted to deal with the AI enemies I would just stand outside the range of the canon with my boomkin and bully them back onto the ship. As soon as one of them is dead, they would retreat. Every. Time. So much for advanced AI…

    Also, in case noone else noticed: the Au Ra at the end is the Forsaken, who showed up in several of Grim's videos prior 🙂 (I wouldnt be surprised if the orc was there too somewhere but I cant place him right away) And even if you dont play WoW or havent ever touched it, go give Grim's other videos a try: they are a treat of good fun and are garantied to brighten your day 😀

  14. Serious question. When does the game get fun? Im level 25 and the game so far has been super slow. The casting is very slow, esp coming from WOW. The questing is a lot of go halfway across the map, talk to this person, go back to where you just came from. There are many quests like that. The couple dungeons that Ive done the adds and bosses just melt, the entire dungeon is over in like 5m. Im playing SMN and the boss is dead before even going through one full rotation.

    I have a couple friends that have pretty much stopped playing WOW for FF14 and they want me to play with them. Im trying to like it but I havent found anything fun about the game so far. Ill say it looks pretty nice. Its a different feel than WOW but gameplay and definitely questing so far has felt kinda worse.

  20. I watched this and was crying because I was laughing so hard. Then I kept watching more of his videos, laughing, wiping eyes thinking how I hate this game, but I miss it. How sad and messed up is that? A lot of memories I guess. It's me being nostalgic. Well back to FFXIV, because I'm late, I'm late it's almost November.

  23. Ah yes, the super advanced AI of island expeditions that I would often be able to keep locked down by myself because they apparently weren't taught how to stun and burst a target down.

  24. I think the DF disband joke hits really hard for all WoW players since most dungeon groups in WoW have been like that for a very long time, I remember groups disbanding because of small mistakes back in TBC.
