Lv80 and next MSQ is the first quest in EW, so likely he got the skip into EW book, but visiting all the old fights is just as fun i think – always can jump into them and even better when u've got most of your Buttons -> "What do u not have back at Lv50" is better than outright lv80 / 90 raiding? i guess?
But always happy to see folks trying out stuff in ff o/
Definitely ARR raids are product of its time. Many of the markers we now see are adjusted for consistency. But the mechanics are much different from current raid tiers to this day. Most of them were designed with various things that we no longer have like SP (Stamina Points). More and more you further go into FF14 raid, it feels more like synchronized swimming. With pretty patterns of explosion. It's a spectacle for sure.

The healers don't have to deal with Cleric Stance, so lucky :p
The group did Titan just before this. He's been having a lot of fun and wants to add more FF raid days per week. π
