Funny i just watched the "how i play everyday" vid from you LMAO
I could write a long essay on this has been thing and the game that was super chill back in 2013 is now a shadow of what it was and is a meat grinder for the trying hard to get gud player in a sea of veterans who think they know it all and think by bossing you around they're helpful. Ive stopped playing ff14 and have moved to a much more motivating pve and pvp mmo and have not looked back once 😂
Being casual in a casual game is not a crime.

Making everyone else carry you harder is not funny for everyone else, it´s mentally taxing do at least the good minimum

Gona be real i dont giv any shts avout this so called "midcore" content. Exs were allways meant to be that. I just want the game to change how it aproaches content and give it longevity without it feeling repetitive or dangling the tomestone carrot over ppls head.
I want new varied dungeons for msq and trails with more engaging mecanics. Remember wol? Absolutely peak fight.
I want an msq where I will feel emotions go over me again like kn endwalker… where i watch the cutscenes back and back because they were sooooo good.
I want more customization for my character like adding a ponytail or customizing bangs.
I want exp to be untrivialized and an wnjoyable grind.. remember runescape?, getting 99 in that game was a public celebration… its a shame 14 doesnt have this.. not even for maxing..
I want jobs to stop starting 70% finished and overwhelming players with the kit. Let me grind out old content or fates to level it.. maybe ill actually learn it!
I want another skilljng minigame for botanists and miners like ocean fishing.. i want something for dps jobs too… and crafters.. its not hard to make.. it could be so fun..
I want the gold saucer to expand further than just fall guys because it could be even more fun…

I honestly didn't know such a term as "midcore" even existed until now, I just referred to myself as a casual. But yes.. Now that I think about it I'm into that mid level difficulty content and I enjoy grinding in mmorpgs. And that's probably what this game is missing.
Is it darkest herisy to say, play for fun? Are people gonna get out the tar and feathers that I suggest that? We have turned into wow? Yes, I know she is kidding around and playing.
I'm straight up casual. Just play on the weekends, do my dailies for the class I'm working on and the story content whenever it comes out.
