For those who are controller users, instead of using /hotbar you use /chotbar set "action name" [cross hotbar #] [slot name] though slot name is a bit wacky. I suggest reading the /crosshotbar info in text commands for the full list.
You mean I can put my class change macro on one hotbar instead of 3?

Me, a Machinist:
"So I'm just adding another off global to my mouse commands-"
Super cool, Haps!
pallies be like: poor thing, you have to change something. So sad
Would you be willing to do this same video but for sage hotbar good sir?
"You've picked your main.."
Haha.. Hahahah! ALL OF THEM!
I think I’ll manually move through the list anyway, that way I can read the tooltips.
Nice advice, however, I personally receive a substantial amount of satisfaction when I take the time and manually, slowly adjust my hotbars and keybinds whenever an expansion/rework comes out.
I thought this was going to be about tips for where to place certain actions on the hotbar to make pressing them more efficient. This is still a really cool thing by the way.
Thanks, Haps. I like manually setting my hot bars as that's fun for me, and I HAVE thought through entirely how I will set up SGE and RPR… But I will find other uses for this as this is actually really useful.
Didn't know this is possible! Now I wonder, is there a macro to change the keybinds of the hotbars? So let say, when I play DPSs I want this set up of keybinds, but when I play healers I want a different set up of keybinds, and i can just execute the macro to change them. Is this a thing?
Hey this is great, thanks!
"I put everything in quotes because it's more consistent "
If only the actual coders I work with had this kind of foresight.
I've been using the Copy paste macro to copy whole crossbars. Is this any better? On one hand I don't need to have cross bars stored somewhere else but the way it loads in the game, seem slower.
Looks at Bard hotbars… ok done
I have a Utility bar that just sets everything up for me for all the different forms of content. It takes so long to set it up, but once its finished its so freaking satisfying and makes things so much cleaner and smoother.
question. how did you set up the one for the mounts using this method. also trying to use this with the gear set icons but do know know what there "action" would be
Thanks!
I hate using the term “Macro Dancers”, but they’re probably all shook at this rn
