  1. on ff14 jobs, do you think we will ever get a shapeshifting job kind of like Druids in WoW. (I mean real job, not something like BLU) The idea of you transforming into iconic FF monsters. Heck, perhaps even going with a FF16 twist with the dominants where people transform into different eikons kinda like Ysayle did with Shiva. I would love to be able to transform into my characters own variant of Shiva. lol

  2. They should do a yearly service like Destiny that way it doesn’t feel like I am paying twice as more then I do for a yearly dlc. Six months cost about $80 and that’s $160 a year or so. Would be fine if the price was around $100 to $120 for a year.

  3. In 14 I'd rather see them take the jobs they already have and try to dial back the homogenization while keeping the balance before creating new ones ..at least for tanks and healers. I really like the game regardless but it would be really nice. Thank for the video!

  4. Yeah it super bums me out that Yoshi P. really doesn't have any experience with FFXI or even Everquest, because that means his focus is always going to be more towards a hack and slash perspective. It does worry me a little bit, but at least Yoshi P. is hands off and let's Matsui do what he needs to do.

I just worry that Yoshi P. will push all of FF to a more casual hack and slash play perspective. We'll have to wait and see what 16 brings but my hope is that they go more of a 7R route since it felt like the best iteration of a hack and slash, and turn based style hybrid we have seen yet.

  5. Didn't expect to hear about Dungeon Explorer, underrated game from way back when that I actually got into on the Wii Virtual Console. I wish Yoshi P got to make that PS2 version, or the space exploration MMO. Bomberman 64: The Second Attack is one of my all-time favorite N64 games, I'm tremendously thankful for him for that childhood experience. I am really glad Yoshi P is allowed to make other kinds of games again, I feel like his Dragon Quest X and FFXIV work is only the BEGINNING of the modern Yoshi P legend! Now we are gonna get Yoshi P UNCHAINED

And staff from Brave Fencer Musashi, Parasite Eve 2, Chrono Cross, and Legend of Mana all worked on FFXI?! That's awesome

  6. Brand New jobs that haven't really existed before coming is definitely exciting. People like to complain about "homogenization", but I think this channel has covered it well-enough before that I don't need to. The new jobs will be fine and totally fun. I look forward to what they do.

If they try to do more unique, character-based jobs, like how Gunbreaker is because of Squall and Seifer, then there's a couple I can think of (Wakka-type with a ball being constantly kicked at the enemy, Rinoa-type with a wrist-mounted projectile with a bird theme, a character that fights via a mount all the time ala FF6, etc). There's also plenty of weapons in general that haven't been implemented yet. I would personally love a Job that uses a Bo Staff or wields two giant shields (obviously a tank). Would have some really nice-looking primal glamour designs, I'm sure.

  7. I miss XI imo it was far more superior than XIV. Only problem with XI was people left. It became mostly Japanese speaking players and auto translate is tough whilst in battle. I get bored in XIV so little to do. Never got bored in XI. I wish XIV had the game play and content that XI has. XI just seems so much more! Areas seem more vast with more to do. Sea, Sky, killing Gods. Beastmaster, Pup, the real Dark knight. Maws taking you to the past campaign, abyasea. Better music. Walk of echos, notorious monsters, camping. Sub jobs. Skilling up.I could go on and on there is so so much more. XIV needs more XI melded into it. I loved the bigess of it. XIV just seems small. Math math math it was all about the math gear builds not the generic gear that we are given in XIV. You could do the math build your gear from the stats. And last but not least I miss deleveling sick I know. (shout) Tele Holla please! 1k "you can have this".
