  1. Yeah I saw those folks doing that. Gotta say I haven't seem behavior like that since I played WoW and wanted to use the mail box where a player on his elephant mount was parked on top of it. You guys that were following him around. You don't have to worry about him bringing WoW toxicity to the game because you already do that. Please stop.

  2. I watched it and i loved how Asmons reaction was mostly just laughter, taking it lightly as if he expected it. There is nothing that can shake this man, nothing he hasnt already seen when it comes to the internet. He is also entertaining as fuck. I just started watching him because of the FF14 topic but as sceptic as i was i soon learned to value his self reflection, straight forward honesty (he lets u know what is shit and whats great – believe me) and the total lack of taking himself serious. Great man, great content.

  3. These gatekeepers need to stop blaming WoW players for this behavior also. These are 14 gatekeepers that have stuff that only long term players would have. I watched Asmon’s AoC stream and he had a great time with other players and even had a raid sized group with them which is something at this time he wouldn’t be able or probably willing to do in 14. Give the man a break so he can enjoy the game! Why sabotage SE over one player after all they do for us?

  4. Honestly, I just want to open Youtube and not be assaulted with his face every other video. Can we just leave Baldhamut to chill in his moon with his fans and stop talking about him? It just gives him more power lol. He's basically a Primal at this point, infecting all FF14 content with his presence. He just decided to play and it caused all this chaos, bringing out the hidden darkness inside a bunch of FF14 players, don't let him temper you any longer lol.

  5. FFXIV community is trash, and FFXIV content creators are also trash. Get off the damned bandwagon and just let the guy play.

I really like FFXIV, but the community often sickens and even frightens me with its cult-like mentality. And the streamers trying to cash in on all of this? I lost all my respect for them. Hell, even Josh Strife Hayes, who was one of the most genuine and honest streamers out there, has jumped on this exact same bandwagon. Guess who's stream I'll no longer be watching… Unsubbed from all of these sellouts.

  6. If he wants to get a feel for the game without others interfering he has to do it anonymously. He knows that. He gets profit from the public circus act. Personally I do not care for him and his content. The couple times I have tried, there was just too much whining to stand. I have not and will not watch his video reviews on FF14 , because whatever his opinions are, they don’t affect my opinions.

I did start casually getting back into FF14 a few months back before all this recent hype, starting from scratch and just working my way back into it. I cannot stand WoW and what it has become… every time I try and go back it reminds me what I don’t like. Just my own opinion. Certainly there are millions of players that like both games and provide each what they are looking for.

  8. I only started watching Asman since the video of him explaining why you wouldn't want to be him. So not long. But I enjoy his content. In the end he is fresh and has good opinions usually and I like his chill. What I find funniest though is all of asman shit talk to catgirls then falls in love with yshtola. Seriously didn't see that coming lol

  10. I mostly agree but as someone who watches asmon and then watching otk also play ff14. That wasnt what made me play ff14.. it's one hundred percent the mounts I'm after. So all the dope mounts covering his screen while we know how annoying that is. It defintely showcased what I was after

  11. I saw the people all over the place and at first I thought damn this game is busy then realized it was just people following him around. It was sad to watch.
Not only was it annoying for him it was annoying for the people trying to watch the stream.

  12. He really did give the game a fair run, tried to have as normal of an experience as possible, and fell in love with it, genuinely. None of the doom and misery came to pass and a lot of toxic people came out and showed their true colors.
