If you want an example of the best transmog and dye set up I have seen in an MMO you should see ESO – FFXIV definitely need to mimic aspects of their system. Once you bind an item to you with a particular appearance you have it in your transmogs for all characters on your account, regardless of what type of armour it is (light – cloth type gear, medium – leather type, heavy – plate type gear; but this mainly works as you can wear anything and there are some advantages to mixing armour types regardless of what role you are doing). Their transmog menu shows EVERYTHING that can be acquired other than store bought stuff and tells you where it is from so you can look through everything and see how you want to mix and match items for a glamour and lets you filter down armour type (light, medium, heavy, event/special). Also their dye system is fkn extensive and is based on you pay an amount of gold each time you change colours and the amount of dye channels you use with items having 0-3 dye channels and cost based on how special the dye is. Dyes themselves are a menu that they unlock based on shit you do in the game and again tells you how to acquire it on the mouse over. Reach level 10 you get a basic dye colour, defeat 10000 players in pvp you get a special colour, defeat the final boss of the current tier Trial on the hard mode you get a special dye. So you can tell if you know the armours and dyes that a player has done some edge lordy stuff just from the dyes on their gear and the appearance it has etc.

I think some of the things Xeno asks are reasonable and are within the boundaries of things that I'm sure SE agrees they could be good things to implement. But some others have almost zero chances of ever happening. I would categorize them as this:
Very likely that they'll be implemented at some point: more and better beards, better or less limiting character creation, better colorblind support, job transition animations, transfer ownership of house to alts, account warehouse, friends list? (I have no idea what Xeno meant with this due to the editing), unlimited glamour dresser and being able to have a dresser on house, glam catalog like GW2/WoW, everything regarding better portrait functionality, instant repair all button, better character sheet, in-game "personal portable orchestrion", better buff/debuff bar, separate inventory for FSH bait/lures, dungeons always giving an extra random piece of gear at the end.
I think all the rest of things on the list are very unlikely to ever happen, like the account-bind MSQ progression, that is never ever going to happen cuz SE already sells the solution to that problem, there is no reason for them to give MSQ skips for free just because you finish the MSQ once, that would be like asking to being able to switch race/gender through the aesthetician.
My high-on-copium request would be to add spanish language support. It's so silly at this point that SE keeps thinking that all latinos/hispanics are broke-ass players that don't spend money on videogames, there is a reason why some of the biggest streamers are hispanic, most hispanic players nowadays spend a shit ton of money on videogames. Believe me, latino/hispanic players are more than ready to meet another gaming company that wants to facilitate the process of taking their money away from their hands.
I'm getting tired of the "Spaghetti Code" excuse constantly being thrown around and would LOVE for them rebuild the game from the ground up for a future expansion.
New server coding and a new 3.0 launcher that can facilitate the new features.
I'd love for them to do this instead of making a new expansion, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut I'm pretty sure I'd get crucified if people have to wait an extra 2.5 years for the next expansion after Dawntrail…

I honestly wish the Limit Breaks actually functioned differently based on Job instead of just being different animations.
But that's just more of the stuff I want but I know will never happen because this game will never fundamentally change.
As a black person, my number 1 thing I want in dawntrail is more hairstyles for black people. We've got like maybe 2-3 that goes well for a black person, but options are extremely limited for us.
A ui element that shows what killed you, when, and how much damage it did and how much it was mitigated.
Not sure if 'Beards' is a joke or not, but holy shit do I want more beards. Especially for Miqo'te. Older Miqo'te/Nunh types should definitely have beard options.
What I hate the most is to bring a friend to the game, group up and queue up for Roulettes and it gives me an error saying that someone does not meet the requirements.

I have no idea how they came up with their ridiculous glam system, and this is talking about the revamp, not the awful ARR/HW version. Every asset should have an ID number (Say 6000 for example). When you collect gear, say a high allagan fending helmet, it should bind that asset ID to your character permanently and end up in your glam dresser, letting you toss the armor away if you want. When you use a dye, that should change to a diff ID number (6000A for the piece being dalamund red, 6000B for DT using two dyes dalamund red and ruby red).
How they came up with this current system and have all these problems like the amount of space, the amount of plates, needing the armoire, needing glam dressers in main cities and not houses or apartments, is just insane to me. This game probably has to be ridiculous.
Oh, can we add more gold sinks to the list?

All tokens / totems / etc. from savages, extremes, ultimates, alliance raids, and everything else, should just go into the currencies page. They could add another tab. Make it look nice and clean to read with future expandability. All of those items don't need to exist in the first place and could be easily represented by a simple number.
Y'shtola mount is my biggest wish
FFXIV is a MMO that the whole quest line is based on the narrative, is different from all other mmos I've played. Whoever skips it is truly missing a big part of the game. I agree with all requests you've made, I also would like to add a way to SHARE a house a own with my alts if they are on the same server.
Square Enix will consider any of these options if it brings money.

For example, the NG+ chapters would be a good one; I'd even compromise there: allow alts to start their journey on at any NG+ chapter you've unlocked on another character.

The reason they don't fix glam is not spaghetti code, it is because they are freaking lazy. Same reason for hroth hats, chat bubbles and tons of other stuff. If a modder can fix this in a few hours after launch then there is no excuse why SE team cannot do it too.

When I ASK for a glam catalog, I get shat on by the community, when beardy asks for Glam Catalog, he gets support.
We don't need an out-of-control boob slider we just need one that makes your boobs a decent size (LULU SIZED MAX) and they stay that size NO MATTER WHAT TOP UR WEARING
I don't know who's saying crafters have that button but they don't there is no button at all that allows you to repair all gear no matter the category.
Has to be limitations, or you'll end up with freak shows like Kim Kardashian. Outfit gender unlocks, oh fuck no.
How about something they promised us long ago and never gave us The ability to purchase previous PVP gear after the series ends. We still can't get archfiend gear

I have heard here and there that they find beards unclean and butt would be relate more towards body fat, but then again I'm surprise the boob slider doesn't go up to a point where the juggernauts are big as the head seeing they favor boobs a lot lmao.
