these kind of mods are client side and not server side so the user will be the only one that sees all the changes. they dont give you any advantage so shouldnt be illegal, i dont think yoshi minds people using these kinds of mods as long as they dont show them off. i have the SMN to necromancer visual mod and its bloody well awesome

I'll never understand why game companies don't seem to get that aesthetics and customization is King in mmorpgs. Like imagine you could have like 1month another pack of these done by SE. They'd legit make triple the money and we could set each other apart visually. Different teleports, running animations, way of holding weapons. Maybe give for people who cleared ultimates posibilities to cover other weapons in the aesthetics of ult weapons. Like jeez, we have a pay2play model and cause of it it's just a mess where ppl get 1 lazy weaponart per 5months and seem to be fine with it
but real talk, if MNK's lvl100 Skill ain't 100 fists, it's a bust.
For Monk the Rising Phoenix removing the flaming phoenix and Elixir Field power beam hitting the floor, just to slap a blue and gold dragon head major down grade really bad, And having the combos end with a fist or foot each time make it look dull. But he animations of the attacks that I did like.
The first mods animations were kinda rough. Monk's GCD is too fast to have those kinds of complex animations. Like if you look at dragon kick he moves very unnaturally to get back into idle position.

Oh cool, reviewing Sparrrrrow's mods! Another friend and great mod creator to work with. I was so pleased with the way their Liturgy of the Bell turned out. A lot of people don't realize that it is a summoned creature, not just some VFX, because the creature itself is normally invisible. But with some editing to its data it can be made visible for a lot of fun healer themes. Furthermore, the same creature that does Liturgy of the Bell also does Earthly Star, so you can do the same thing for Astrologian.
Laoqian is a relatively new modder to the community, but they have shown some superb work so far. I haven't had the pleasure of working with them, but have talked with them about their work and they do some bold and impressive things. Like the armor transformation you saw actually edits and uses Reaper's Enshroud asset. I first noticed them from their Reaper mod themed around the Monkey King which was really cool.

I miss the shadowbringers monk… I had just finished learning how to play it at a casual level before endwalker dropped annndddd now I have no idea how to do anything again…. cool thanks guys
