Sorry criticism is illegal, FFXIV is a perfect game and Yoshi is a god. Chat bubble mods should be punished by death, until they put them in the game that is, then it's great and worth praise.
I wish they made the both sets of idle animations availbaile for both genders. tl:dr I want the Male pose for DRK. Oh and to fix Elezen's run animations.

Supreme lord Yoshi P. does no wrong, stop criticizing this masterpiece of a game. It has 0 flaws and you need to stop and be grateful for how much he does. He is releasing top tier content and the class balance has been amazing. Learn your place, Yoshi P. has been nice for too long.

Honestly the fact SE and Yoshi get all pissy over mods like this and UI shit and have so many idiot simps worshiping them is pretty pathetic. The sad part is Yoshi isn't that great of a director to begin with. Honestly 99% of the time i'm watching a Live Letter its like i'm watching a Japanese Joe Biden being clueless and falling asleep xdding.
I would love to be able to use both male and female idle weapon poses.
I think you should just stream with some non lewd mods on and plugins that are more QoL but offer no gameplay advantage.

Some modders out there are releasing mods for free that are better quality work than what a company worth millions does sometimes. It's no wonder they're bannable, Square doesn't want to be one-upped by randoms in their community.
The moment they added console support was when they put themselves into a huge hole when it comes to mods. You end up with two situations:
1) One where we have two different versions of the game, the version with Mods and the version that can't be modded. You can throw Crossplay out of the window if this is the case, like with every Multiplayer game that allows this. You end up in the situation where one version of the game is completely dead over the other.
2) What we have now where it's no mods at all or it's a ToS Violation but hey, at least it's fair on the people who can only play on console. Downside is pretty obvious: it can be years before the devs realise why a mod is so popular and implement that functionality into the game. There's some fantastic mods out there they really help people with acessabiity and disability issues but I guessd fuck those people if we can't let them have mods that make the game playable.
Both options are completely unsustainable sadly in the big picture. Sadly Squeenix know exactly what the playerbase will do with mods. "Just drop console support 5head" isn't an option at this point. The installed playerbase on PS4/PS5 is absolutely massive and you lose millions of players just by doing that. External websites put the Game's Sub count as 35-40 million and even if we lowball it and say 30-40% play on Console, you're cutting out anything from 10.5 million to 16 million players. That's a huge amount of money to be giving away.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates drk's animations.
I used to be a hobbyist streamer who did it for fun and my like 15 followers but I gave up streaming because I'd rather have my mods and have a playable, upscaled game than stream. I have Papachin's mods for every job, Vergil SAM, upscales for nearly every pre-endwalker armor, NPC, face, hair and body texture as well as geometry and model edits (I.E. nonblocky hands) and because I'm EU playing on NA, I also need NoClippy or XIVAlexander not to mention all the plugins that give me 0 advantage but add quality of life stuff atop my RP plugins.
I would not be able to play the game anymore if they suddenly stopped working permanently, they give me no advantage but make the game infinitely more playable. SE should really revise their stance on mods. Rather than this stupid ass grey area, they can literally just have a list of sanctioned modifications. Not the names of the mods but what types of mods are ok to use, like WoW does through demanding mods be done via their API.
Not gonna happen because it puts console players in the bin but alas.
Mods are the only reason I kept playing the game after terrible experience with ARR. Mod creators earned Yoshi several hundred euros from me alone.

To be honest, you're more likely to get banned streaming this mod than most other visual mods. Because Capcom will see it and give SE heat for stealing their copyright, not knowing it is a mod.
Would be so nice, if we had more customization of attack animations with weapons, and more lax point of view of cosmetic mods.
Sadly, the SE knights and GCBTW would attack any form of suggestions that would challenge their current warped world view of the game, especially if it goes against the gospel and preaching of their lord and savior, Yoshi-p.

This bullshit with mods with the fact that the endgame is purely casual, is what made me not play FFXIV anymore.
If people stopped using UI mods that give advantage over those that don't use mods then we could have these nice things. But when people use UI mods that give knockback warnings and other things that are unfair, the modding community can only blame itself
