One thing if it hasn’t been explained to you with the armory bonus is that you get an experience boost based on your highest leveled job for everything else that you level after so it’s best to stick with one job through MSQ. The best time to change “main” would be at the start of an expansion because newly introduced jobs start at the previous expansion’s level cap.
As someone who has almost all my jobs at 80 though I wholeheartedly support trying out every job you can 🙂
