  1. They've already admitted to a new borrowed system. It's called Dragon Flying. Unless they promise that this feature is an evergreen system, 11.0 we will put our dragons in a stable and let them grow mold and starve to death. I've been shouting all over Social Media; it's worse than borrowed power, it's borrowed fun!

  2. Before I buy dragon flight imma see how long it take them to pull out a major patch. They lost the trust i had in them. Not going to do the same mistake I did with shadowlands by buying a game I don’t even play

  3. WoW needs to show that Dragonflight is something different instead of more than the same. Unfortunately, that's going to be hard to prove until more details about the game, especially the test servers are up. The talent tree is definitely going to be another point of contention.

  4. Only played wow for 2 months, probably won't again, but I hope it goes well. Competition is good and FFXIV is kind of the biggest kid in the pool ATM. Hoping some others rise up to the challenge for the improvement of all.

  5. I'm originally a WOW player since BC. I am not a hardcore player but I do have a number of alts primarily because I used to enjoy the Crafting/Gathering/Auction House part of the game until Blizzard totally destroyed it. Then you add all of the stuff in Shadowlands and I felt it necessary to make a change. While I enjoy FF14, there are things that I do not like about it and that is to be expected. I am very interested in the changes being proposed for these systems in WOW so I will strongly consider changing back. I especially like the fact that Chromie time will allow me to advance easily into the new content without having to wade through tons of content that does not float my boat.

  6. The instant I saw the dragon mount customization I immediately knew they were going to FOMO the hell out of the customization options for that. Just as they always do.

  7. I find it hard to not get excited about each new expansion of WoW even if they have screwed us time and again after Legion (as I've been playing WoW since WoTLK), which I still say wasn't as good as everyone made it out to be. The last truly good expansion was MoP except what they did to Garrosh. Challenge modes were on point and awarded awesome transmog gear and mounts. I've tried getting into FFXIV, GW2, LOTRO, and ESO among others and always end up feeling like they are cheap knockoffs of what WoW is or at least what it used to be. I long for the day when Blizzard is truly on top of their game again as I will be back once again to protect Azeroth.

  8. Only people who have played WoW for years and have "Battered wire syndrome" are getting excited for this. The entire reveal was really lame, and the trailer was "meh".

Frankly, I'm more excited for the League of Legends MMO which I know nothing about than anything WoW is doing…and I don't even like LOL..

Disappointing that a mediocre trailer manages to get everyone back on huffing Copium. Years of complaints and getting screwed, and some people are already claiming Blizzard is "listening".

If you Pre-order this…you deserve to get screwed to be frank. Just like with Cyberpunk, stop pre-ordering games people ffs.

  9. I don't like how this expansion is being announced, it feels very lackluster for a community used to getting overwhelmed with information, but I understand why it's necessary this time. Hoping we don't have to wait too long to see more.

  10. While I can understand the frustrations of wow over the past 4 years. However, despite my love of ff14, the strengths of that game is on the story and story telling. Raids and dungeons and trails are fun, but repetitive. Every normal raids, alliance raids, trials and dungeons in endwalker isn’t any different then what players were doing in arr, hw, sb, shb. Not bad content, just predictable with nothing new. Wow at the very LEAST, tries to change things up with new features. They have sucked in the past, but dragon riding and actual world exploring is something that is missing in both wow and ff14. What’s the point of wow and ff14’s worlds outside of its narrative. Guild wars 2 shows how to do open world content right and I hope both games learns from it
