an ultimate in FF14 can be compared to a half of a mythic raid happening in a single encounter
The funny thing is, I don't think there were Bugs in TOP. Everything was exactly how the game works. The Target pause is ONLY on Raids. Normal monsters will instant Auto you if you are in their attack range and they target you. Buffs and Debuffs have always had a maximum number you could have. The first instance of this being an issue on a Player and not a boss wasn't Delebrum Reginae. it was Eureka Amenos, when people started to realize you can stack WHM Regens so hard on the Main Tank they couldn't turn back on Tank stance, and then the boss would auto attack the next second instantly killing a BLM in the corner. So the fight having a means to screw you by buff overflow was known, and was probably exactly as intended for TOP. After all, all content needs to be cleared by the Devs before they release. Sure they use Max possible ilv, infinite amounts of potions food buff FC buffs and already know the solution, so it's all down to execution, so yeah, those "Bugs" were probably intended.
P2 reminds me of Archimonde Mythic. Looking back Paragon did it the FF way… the world 1st… WA. A lot of brain fuel on this day

the cheating part that got exposed is not a big deal in term of prog and the race, they're not ahead of everyone because of a zoomhack and all these other plugins lmao. my best bet is they had insider info(that one leaked gm vid) so they could simulate strat way ahead of everyone else thus making them miles ahead in the race.
everyone in the world race know this by nature but i guess its not so obvious for the rest of the community
these silly goofy cheats can only help u so far but, mechanics info ? that goes a long way
