World First HACKED! YOSHI-P RESPONDS!! [FFXIV 6.31]

Yoshi-P Does NOT Recognize them as the true world first team! Yoshi-P Officially Responds about the World First Race Hackers and reminds us again Third Party Tools are NOT allowed and he also isn’t happy that people are putting words in his mouth saying things are grey or not clear with the terms of service. Yoshi-P is very much putting his foot down and saying this is NOT okay!

  1. "then any reason to develop high-difficulty battle content seems to be lost." Hits like a TRUCK! DAMN. Guys… This is Yoshi-P's official response and dang there are a lot of very very big lines dropped. Let's talk…

  2. Imagine going this game is too easy….. Lets install third party tools to make it easier…. Like bruh people need to get head outta ass badly. Many people complain there was no challenge now there is a challenge like wtf?

  3. Imagine getting a job at this studio from SE, working on a very big MMO like this and then you jeopardize this and risk legal consequences by leaking footage of something the players will see in one or two weeks the intended way anyway. How daft can a person be?

  4. Ok all this are good and i agree but can they stop ignoring the elephant in the room and finally adress the hackers in pvp its unplayable here in eu almost 80% on competitive pvpers in ranked matches above platinum 3 use hacks like instant cc on whm or lb on ninja on under 50% i cant believe they adress ultimate that affect 3% of the population and ignore pvp that affects 90%… come on square enix…

  5. People like these are ruining everything. It suppose to be a common sense to refrain your self from using any plug-ins big or small when the entire world is watching you.

  6. The problem is, SE is just talking again. People meme already again about "Daddy Yoshi is not angry, he is disappointed" and so on, that’s it. Nothing.Ever.Happens. How many statements like that we had already. "What should we dooooo, is a calculator a 3rd party toooool?! haha what a story Mark. Anyway, next topic…." come on. No wonder this pathetic cheating lowlifes don’t stop, no consequences. Again blah blah blah

  7. Every time i see something like this i just think why. This guy and his team saved this game with blood sweat and tears. Gave us one of the best mmo experiences of all time and yet people pull shit like this every single time. Its like someone comes to you with a gift and instead of saying thank you you spit on their shoes instead. I'm not even an hardcore raider but i just find stuff like that super disrespectful.

  8. Steroids in a sport is a weak analogy at best. I personally don't sports ball. But I feel like this is closer to improperly inflated equipment or using something to give you a better grip on the ball. But never mind that. Your point is clear.

    More importantly imho, this isn't even a binary clear/not clear… it's a binary, cheat/not cheat.

I personally don't care if players use mods. I don't care if they have parsing parties or using mods to help them get an edge.. what I care about is the fact that they cheated a competition. The accounts involved should be banned imho. Make them start over completely. Including buying all new copies of the game and maybe even brand new hardware. But maybe that's just me being malicious.

  9. Just something to think about; a streamer who is currently progging TOP said this "If the FFXIV community want to disregard this world first clear then they need to disregard every previous world first clear, every world racer be it streaming or non-streaming has someone in their team using some kind of plugin, everyone who is racing knows it, they might not know who on their team uses plugins but they know someone is using plugins, they just don't care and keep quiet about it. Don't tell me bad take, are you that f***ing naive?"

As for a sanctioned race, I am absolutely against it. You are going to end up with something akin to what Blizzard is doing and people will be priced out.

  10. Honestly Squarenix & the FF14 team should just make Frosty & Mogtalk the official world race provider. Especially after Frosty has mentioned that going forward that they will no longer track teams that do not stream. There will still be 3rd party tools involved but you can no longer hide having clear advantages that benefit cheating. It won't fix everything & the world race has been tainted for awhile now but it's a start at least.

  11. valid question, is there a distinction made between third party tools that inject themselves into the game and give information that shouldnt be known/alter the game vs a tehcnically third party tool such as voice communication so people can make call outs? surely we arent expected to remember the whole entire fight start to finish, after awhile people can get frustrated, one person forgets one thing, causes a wipe, then people get more frustrated, i see it countless times in pug groups for extreme mounts and they just bail

so i hope things like discord, ventrilo, teamspeak, etc arent lumped in with third party tools

  12. 8:53 I'm not particularly feeling hit by this mostly because I don't use add-ons.
I also do not understand why people cheat to beat harder difficulty, they are flipping the finger on people (developers and players) just to beat content. Honestly, I also don't see why people rush to be the first in the world to beat game stuff.

  13. When you allow people to fail a msq and then choose to do it again in "very easy" mode the last thing you get to complain about is addons. FFXIV the most accessible/casual game I've ever played. To complain about people making it more accessible/casual for themself is absolute hypocrisy. But the real problem is that you the player get to choose and they the developer don't get to monotonize and control the addon. 😒

  14. I fear that Yoshi-P will put his foot down and make it harder to implement mods and plug-ins.
Some people use these things to cheat themselves but there are also disabled players who rely on the quality of life. From functional colour-blind modes and UI mods to help visually impaired people, to ACT triggers – yes, those evil triggers – for people with perception or cognitive issue.
There is no anti-cheat. There is no detection system that pilfers through your files to check if you installed a mod that gives Thighlanders some eyebrows or whatever.
    At least, not yet.
The lack of WF statics' competitive integrity is a danger to everyone who uses mods and plug-ins. And that also includes vulnerable people.
