1. Interesting thoughts. I definitely agree that the scions have felt like they have too much figured out, which is what happens with experience, and square needs to find some way to present challenge to the team. The only thing I would disagree about is that I hope they give us another epic. I love long haul stories and they have shown they know how to pull them off.

   One of the things I think about with all this discourse: we reached a huge crescendo in story, one that was building for years and years. If they want to build to another crescendo, tell a good story, they need to come down from that previous crescendo, you cannot tell an ever-increasing story, there must be highs and there must be lows for those stories to have impact. We are on a down swing in preparation for something new. I think they have overall earned some trust from the players to let them tell a new story. That's only my opinion though, I tend to give the benefit of the doubt until someone disappoints me, and I have not yet been disappointed in FFXIV.

2. I don't know if a video that, despite making some decent points, has someone sounding very bitter throughout and mocking players for enjoying the game for reasons other than raiding is "perceived" negativity… 😅

3. I dont think anyone would have had an issue with this if they had a Bozja like area for Endwalker. Their biggest mistake was not having one. It was a missed opportunity imo.

4. In listening to what theyve said about what this expansion means to us, " a summer vacation" i know that its a nice change of pace. Id like to think this gives us a nice break of story between endwalker, and the start of a new intense story line.

5. Hate to break it to you, but Dawn Trail's content is already set. We arent getting anything "new". If we want anything new, the feed back needs to hot very loudly ASAP for 8.0.

7. I got so bored with same old formula and gearing up “options”. It felt like being on a hamster wheel. I barely looked at end walker since I finished the initial msq 🙁

Content creator need drama to get views and there opinion is shared by a irellavant minority of midcore and hardcore players while they dont understand that the vast mayority (around 85%) are casual who love eew and it casual focused content.also using lyx the worst cc in ffxiv for your argument is bad.xenos is raider not a casual sp again he speakfor nobody relavant.again lynx is a person most ppl hate in his video too so again bad arguement since clearly you ignore that.exploration zone ARE MIDCORE CONTENT AND BOTH SB AND SHB had on and they ruined the game foR CASUAL AND SOLO PLAYERS AKA 85% and they where FORCE TO UNSUB OR PLAY CONTENT THAT AINT CATERED TO THEM ew is the FIRST EXPANTION THAT OFFER CONTENT TO CASUAL WITH ISLAND AND RELICS and is a readon why it critically beloved , using endgame players who are 5 % of playerbase and midcore eho arr barely 10 to 12% to say that the game SHOULD CATER AND FOCUS ON THEM will kill the ffxiv casual playerbase again the reason why ew made so much is because casusl stay longer subbed then the patch month rather then unsubbbing because there is nothing to do.

9. 1:10 – Yes, yes it will keep on working. Because it's the content millions of people in the game have enjoyed, do enjoy and want to continue enjoying.
   2:40 – Stop. Just stop. This is such a condescending and obnoxious mentality. "Most people are okay with it…. but the just don't catch on 'til later….".

   There are many… MANY players at end game. They do all the hardest content. They have all jobs maxed (Combat, Crafting and Gathering). They have Bozja, Eureka, etc cleared. They h ave Deep Dungeons cleared. They know EXACTLY what the game is like. They know EXACTLY how the content is. They recognize the "pattern" perfectly well. Yet they log in and enthusiastically look forward to playing each day – even re-running content they've cleared a hundred times (or more). Why? Because they enjoy it. So just stop with that nonsense. It's unjustified, condescending and obnoxious. Stick to sharing your own opinions. Stop trying to diminish others'.

   Here's FFXIV's "formula":
   When new content introduced lands flat, and people aren't engaging with it, they don't continue adding more. There's multiple examples of this in the game's past.
   When it's successful and people are engaging with it, they strive to expand/improve on it and/or add more. There's multiple examples of this in the game's past.
   When systems/content implemented have run their course and are "completed", they don't continue adding to it.
   This has been the "formula": "Put our resources into giving the players more of what they want, as much as we feasibly can".

   People WANT more Ultima fights. People WANT more Deep Dungeon (folks complained that Endwalker didn't have one). People WANT more Bozja like content (folks complained that Endwalker didn't have any). People WANT SE to continue the "formula".

   Do they want to see new ideas introduced as well? Of course. But they also want to get some new incarnations of the content types they already enjoy.

   This "controversy" over FFXIV's "content formula" only exists among a relative handful of creators on YT trying to farm views.
