  1. I've been in 2 raid groups. I raid lead once, and I joined another after I got tired of leading (had a kid and busy with work). Everyone is mature and we all raid very well together. Don't get me wrong I've had a couple of people that were problem people but typically they didn't fit in and left, or I'd kick them.

In my opinion whenever people have a problem with EVERY static group they've been a part of, that individual is usually the issue. Just think about it, they're all different groups and the only thing that remains the same is yourself. Perhaps that person should have a mindset change?

Really at the end of the day you just gotta find a group of like minded people and weed out the rest. People raid because they want to have fun in a video game, if you don't enjoy it go play something else.

  2. Raiding in ff14 is just a bad joke…. its just a single boss…
The shit net code really ruins it as well.
some classes have a ping required to fully play them and if ur ping is too high u have to not play it or use a vpn to fix it…
also.. theirs no reward really… the super shinny weapons… u can buy it for $7…

  3. I wouldn't say Don't raid, I would say expect to have issues finding a static in these times, assuming you're a mature human being seeking a group of friends to raid with for non super hardcore world races.

People have lives, and those lives now require too much time working to survive.

  4. I lead my own static that I've been running with mostly the same 6 dudes for the last 4 years (other guys had to leave for IRL reasons). My number 1 rule is keep IRL problems and drama to yourself. No one is here to listen to your problems and no one will cry for you. If you have an issue with another member of the static because they said/did something to upset you, be an adult and address it like one. There's only been 2 times where we had to hash out some beef, but other than that everyone is pretty chill.

  5. Raids need meaningful rewards and maybe a middleground to even want to try raid fights that aren't just normal mode difficulty. The gear and stat sticks become obsolete very quickly.

When they put the big rewards you could of earned ingame in these raids on the Mog Station Cash Shop like Cruise Chaser or Shadow Wolf it devalues the raid rewards significantly.

  6. Tbh i was too lazy to watch a full video about someone being angry about such a great thing as raiding in FF14, i just jumped here and there watching part of the video. Just sounds like huge skill issue and poor mentality from someone who's probably afk doing ERP in Limsa ^^
