Why You Should NEVER Play Final Fantasy 14 / XIV! RANT!!!

COMMENTS DISABLED: I’ll gladly discuss and answer questions in regards to my experience that I had with FFXIV and the community as I do not have one thing to hide in all of this, I’ve been very open and responded to almost every comment that I could. However, I will not tolerate threats. You know, many of you really just prove my point by doing that.

Beyond that, it was extremely clear that 90% of the commenters who were so violently upset about this video weren’t even watching the video, and misrepresenting me and everything I’m saying. I’ll tell you this much, some of those who commented were much more vicious and vulgar that I ever was in FFXIV. I would say quite a bit of you are more toxic by accident than I could be if I tried. You deserve a permeant ban, I don’t deserve one.

So, there’s not reason for me to have a comment section when it’s either triggered individuals who didn’t even watch the video, and/or threats. That was not everyone, many of you gave me your experience as well and had constructive feedback for me. I appreciate it!

Remember, it’s a rant, I say so in the first 5 seconds and I’ve cooled off since this video 🤣 Though I stand by not recommending this game to a single soul, I did get a better perspective on things thanks to some of you. I’d like to make a follow up video as more details come, and a proper video showcasing instances I’ve found similar to mine. Feel free to knock yourself out with the links below.

CURRENT TICKET STATUS:
I’ve submitted 3 tickets, two were closed, and the one Action Review hasn’t been responded too in 7 days. I’ll keep this updated when I get answers as to why I’m perm banned. I’m trying to find out what I said exactly that deserved a perm ban, and if I find out, I will post screenshots. If I said something horrific and it’s justified, I’ll own up to it and say I’m wrong and deserved it. But either way, you can all be the judge. If you think I’m lying about all this, it’s fine. It doesn’t bother me one bit. I’m open to hearing everyone’s thoughts and will respect them.

TOO LONG; DIDN’T WATCH:
– I’ve played since around launch and never had issues until I moved to Balmung. So for those saying I’m just some kind of toxic player, I have a good track record.
– My entire ban history is listed in the video.
BAN 1 – Last year, a 30 day ban for name violation. This was my first offense. Never received a warning. I was banned after someone DM’d me and said “Nice name. I messaged my friend on Discord who is a game master, enjoy your ban ;)” I was banned that night.
BAN 2 – I quit for a year and came back in April. Within 25ish days I got banned again for Profanity (which I don’t use) and Offensive Speech for 20 days. The violation happened on a day I wasn’t even online. I wasn’t told what I said that was so bad, and I honestly can’t figure it out. Worst thing I can think that I’ve said with the little talking done was tell a guy trolling our group he should “quit playing video games”
BAN 3 – I didn’t know which kind of ticket to submit so I submitted two. A ban appeal and action review. Ban appeal was closed, and action review wanted more details. I told them the story of the issue with that group. The next day I was perm banned for “Harassment”. The “harassment” apparently took day on, again, a day I wasn’t online because it was during a day I was banned.
