Uhh, not sure what you mean by lack of chores because there are a dailies and weeklies that don’t respect my time. Also, the side and main quests are padded out like crazy. World building is fine, but being told I need to talk to four different people for no particular reason is unnecessary. The characters all walk so slow and the environment is built to waste time. Anyways, I have no reference point in regards to other MMOs because this is kinda like my first one, but if FFXIV is one of the best, I can’t imagine how people can put up with it in other games.

Very interesting. I tried it in the beginning and got burned, but it wasn't the developer's fault really and I do often still feel a little tug when I watch play content like this… and especially listening to this review! (At the secure culture part)

Great video. The only negative is that you play a Femroe – which made me want to Fantasia into one myself – again – for the 18 trillionth time. Why did I have to fall in love with both the shortest and tallest race in this game?
One very important point was missed. MUSIC!
There will be 4th wall breaking moments. At least there was few for me. And it had to do with raiding. I won't say what it is because it's a spoiler but once I figured it out, it blew my mind because I felt like I was being controlled by the game.
