  1. There were so many poor narrative choices in DT… the quality whiplash with MSQ from ShB/EW to DT is something else…took me completely out, and the character we're supposed to love I started out liking but slowly became perhaps one of my most-hated characters in the game, and not in a good way.

  2. Yeah, I couldn't get behind this vibe they tried to establish. An entire village worth of people might be gone, but we are happily building a ram train to go rescue them. It's so bizarre.

  3. Now I'm waiting for the day The Mouse makes an animated version of Oppenheimer.

Honestly, I love "Sing," and functionally, I know why they played it here since the main purpose of this montage is less about “getting the boom boom train done” and more an example of the various cultures of Tural working together for a single purpose…

…just happened that the purpose is said to be “boom boom train,” which caused a lot of destruction. On the plus side, Vanguard seemingly only had one living person in it, and we never needed a locomotive to destroy them.

  4. But it wasn't about building a bomb…

It was about peoples of different cultures and skills coming together during a crisis to stand together and survive.
The solution just… happened to be building a train bomb.

  5. Out of all these years of playing FF14 this was the worst song made for the game. Yoshi-P please come back to the story team, thanks for making the dungeons and raids better but DT story sucks.
