  1. If like you said, this is your first MMO you're starting with the highest quality product out there. this game spoils you and when you see the competition nothing comes close.
The QoL implementations, the lack of P2W elements, the freedom to try other games without feeling Fomo Etc.
Happy to see you starting with the critically acclaimed mmorpg FFXIV.

  2. I'm a huge fan of story in anything (movies, games, books, etc.), and honestly I feel both ARR and Stormblood are really misunderstood from a writing perspective. Maybe I'm a contrarian in thinking this, but they're both really great.

  3. I really like your comment about how the music progresses in the fight. First time I noticed it was in the Titan fight, during his second phase. I was so hyped!!

You should do a video about the top moments of the story so far for you or the top boss fights/duties in your opinion :).

  4. 14 is your first mmo? You should try out a FF11 private sever sometime just to see how much different mmos were pre WoW. 11 is far more immersive. The open world is dangerous, you have to group up to travel anywhere, there is no fast travel, only crystal binds and an airship that travels in real time through a seamless non instanced world and tickets are expensive so money becomes more valuable.

I love 14 but wow turned the mmo into online lobbies where people queue for instances and it's all about end game. Pre wow mmos were all about the journey to cap level, all content was hard so everything felt like end game in a sense, the world felt real and many things functioned like a real world. That's what's missing in mmos of today. The world's don't feel real anymore, just online lobbies.
