Oh you'll learn about Hydelin and Zodiark at the End walker. Butttt the twelve will be explored mire (hopefully) in the next expansion. They have been teased quite a bit

Don't worry too much about the divinities and such. I will say that although you got some things correct and some things wrong, your current speculations are not too far off from what the playerbase was speculating at that point of the MSQ. Stuff like how does Hydaelyn and Zodiark fit in with the Twelve, who is good/evil, stumped lore nerds for the longest time. Just be patient and attentive and you will be rewarded.
You have some really nice thoughts, but you're also off quite a bit, and have some fundamental lore wrong.
Still, everything will be resolved. You will learn everything. I am kind of jealous of you now hahaha, I wish I could experience everything again 🙂

To be fair man you speak to much about this game, and its good, but if you play more often you will get your answers in game, this not blizzard storytelling after all)
I love this speculation. Everyone has these unique take on it. All I can say is when I found out, I was pleasantly surprised and soon after I was in denial because for what I believed for years was challenged on multiple occasions thru the expansions.

Ooof… this is coming after I completed all of the 6.1 story content… both the MSQ and the Alliance Raid from there.
No way am I going to say a single thing about it here.
It's always interesting (and funny) to hear speculations about this game's big picture lore from people that are still doing the MSQ. I'm not sure where you're at rn but I think you're in Stormblood so I just won't say anything….well I was about to write a "clue" but I realize it might count as spoilers…so…keep trying to come up with speculations, it's really entertaining !

Don't worry, I'm caught up with all the patches and content and it's still confusing.
Thing is… this is a question we all have/had … and its one of the questions addressed later on. I remember playing FF14 kinda with shutters on, simple because I knew that all questions and open ends would be addressed at some point later. Granted, that was more my hope and not an expectation, however, the game has given me all the answers and more questions and then some! So… dont bother stoppen here and start questioning, the answer to it may just be a single quest away – literally 😉
