Patch 6.2 in FF14 could literally be an expansion. With so many upcoming features. It’s time to go through what I’m most excited for.

  1. It would be nice if they updated squadrons to use in lieu of the new Duty Support system, as they're your hand-picked NPCs and there would be investment in carrying them forward through to stormblood.
Much like how from Shadowbringers you can level up the main cast via the Trust system.

  3. I would argue that Squadrons dont really fall into abandoned content. It is just content that is "finished." Abandoned content, at least to me, is content that is no longer supported by the devs, AND it no longer serves a purpose to the player. Squadrons are still useful to have if for no other reason that you are able to get grade 3 free company equivalent buffs.

  4. I was most excited for the savage dungeons, but hearing that I'll likely not be able to do it without doing savage raids takes my exctiement away. I thought it was finally a chance to have some fun content in the game that can work around my irregular schedule and not being able to join a static, but guess not

  5. Data mining use to be common, but yeah the past year or so it's become rarer to come across without really having to find it, it seems. You best bet the first step or two of the manderville weapons are going to be everywhere though!

  6. go to the firment in the ishgard brume to speed lvl a gathere in the diadem and do daily beast tribe quests from shadow bringers when 70 as well as daily turn ins for your grand companys and you can get at least a gatherer up fast or just hit ocean fishing got lvl 67-69 in one run with food and grand company gathering exp item you will be ableto farm the mount in no time. i just turn in items from the market board to grand compays and job quests. faster it should not take to long gl. actully you can do the same thing with crafters if you wanna speed lvl at least one for trible quests for mounts. use the items you gathered from the firment to craft for skybuilder scripts though you will need to buy/gather the rest of the mats for the crafted items, and you can go there crafting/gathering lvl 1

  7. They put Harvest Moon in my Final Fantasy. I've warned my friends that they won't see me for a couple months minimum.

Oh and then Harvestella comes out in October. Bye bye social life!

  8. Another series of stupid quests for the ladyboy?
The NPCs in this game are so bad I just had to quit, could not even bear to look at them, and I had stopped watching cutscenes and reading dialogues after the pathetic final mission at the castrum whateverthename, where you could not skip and were force fed half an hour of absurd bull@#$/

  9. Ok, this might be silly, but I am super excited that healing ticks won’t cause enmity. So as a White Mage, I can throw up a regen at the START of a wall to wall pull and the mobs won’t attack me for that. I’ve had tanks ask me to NOT try to heal them until the end of the pull. I’ve gotten used to it, but dang, they just make wall to wall tank pulls so much easier to heal.

  10. I’ve been saying it for a while, especially so after the trailer. Scarmiglione will be both the dungeon and trial boss. He’s always had two forms. You “kill” him in the dungeon, then he goes to his 2nd form for the trial.

Granted this is Endwalker, and everything I’ve guessed for Endwalker has been completely wrong and I’m probably wrong on this too. If so, I’ll be just as hyped anyway

  11. I am really interested to check out island sanctuaries bc god knows how much time I've sunk into Stardew valley… But what I'm really hype about is seeing the new trial and savage raids!

  12. preacherman im sure your fc has already said a million times but for gathering just go to diadem until you can start the collecting chains – there's a site gillionairgirls they have really good guides for gathering but more importantly crafting – then they'll go over melds and the gear/tools you should get along the way – you can cheese the guides a little and just make HQ gear instead of socketing lowe materia which me personally i never had to do your mileage may vary

  13. so these island sanctuaries gonna drag everyone out of the world like garrisons did? idunno, I don't play this game. but that isolation wasn't good for wow. shrug

  14. I own FF14 since its release, but never came around playing it. And now I feel more entertained by it then I did with WoW. Yes WoW has more combat then FF14… but for some reason FF14 has so much stuff to do… from every expansion, which unlike in WoW is not just the gimmick of the XP and dropped in the next to never be done ever again. In FF14 the Roulettes,mm the story or the fact that stuff is just plain fun makes you do the older stuff. IK am pumped for the patch!

  15. I've always loved you geeking out on this. I've wanted to get into it but there's so much to it I find it overwhelming. Also the daunting task of finding a comunity and all the resources gathering that I'm years behind on makes it hard to want to switch from WoW. Though I an looking forward to Wrath.

  16. Can anyone tell me had preach gone through EW yet or not? Still waiting for that plot video after he finishes the story. Maybe I missed it or he decided not to do it, I am not sure.

  17. FFVIX does have small group high difficulty dungeon content even before the criterion dungeons, it's Palace of the dead and Heaven on high, the deep dungeons.
