Ilberd's actually wrong about people using the Warrior of Light. It seems to completely elude him that the Warrior of Light might agree to help others because he chooses to, simply because it's the right thing to do or they share common goals, along with the fact that the people they help are (usually) grateful and provide support and gratitude, including the leaders and Scions.
But no, he's a fool who got screwed by uncaring bad people, so that means everyone who does good has to be. He's a perfect example of the trope "Evil Cannot Comprehend Good".

I personally always preferred the post-ARR Merlwyb voice as she sounds more like what she is, a former pirate of low birth who earned her position as leader of this coalition of pirates, compare this to her ARR voice which while great she's well spoken and with a regal bearing to her voice…she doesn't sound like a pirate, she speaks like a noble.
