Holy HELL that was close! Good job ya'll!
I do recommend sticking to countdown timers, as some dps classes have optimal openers before a pull! Also, try to keep the boss faced one direction, so melee classes can stick those directional attacks! (it's hard when dodging mechanics and AoEs, but just as a rule of thumb!)
Can't wait to see more on everyone! Hopefully I can rejoin ya'll on Mynta soon. (I'm down to 3 classes until Omni 80!!!)
Wait til you see him in the shroud roaming around as a hidden fate. I've fought him only a few times but damn he hard to kill and so tanky. 🙂
The ODIN Fate would crash servers.
This was a little before my time but, I was told, Odin would enrage during his Fate and one-shot everyone. Since it would take damn near everyone on a server to fight his fate everyone would go to fight him. When enrage killed everyone the server couldn't handle all the sudden data and crash.
I stared playing after this was fixed but, Odin was still a server killer, but just ALL the players, not the server. Being in VC with friends when everyone on the server was dead on the ground was one of the funniest things.
It is kind of interesting that, once we got a discord together, we cleared it in one go. Was it the comm or the prog since we were in it for 45 mins before we got on discord? Doesn't matter! What matter is I had a blast with you all progging this!
Man it’s wild that just 6 months ago for myself I beat this fight for the first time. And it was just a snowball from there, Tbh I’ve not been let down by any fight in this game so far.
And congratulations on the most clutch clear I’ve ever seen. Y’all were legit dead I thought. But then dots said nope.
