This expansion has done a phenomenal job at redeeming Hydaelyn. She’s now one of my favorites!
I lost it at "My brave little spark"
I used to think Hydaelyn might be the actual evil and all only to end up crying like a kid after her trial, she turned out to be one of the best characters in this game
People complaining about spoilers; naming the character and specifying it as a fight may be crossing a line but the image certainly isn’t. This character is in all the promotional art of the expac, simply seeing their face isn’t a spoiler…

God, this song gave me so many feelings. Like it was perfect for the fight, it felt like a friendly fight between two longs friends. A longing met the joy of a clash.

This was the moment I said to myself, "This is better than Shadowbringers." Because this was the moment that I realized that I trusted Venat, 100%. I started this expansion telling her that I'd never trust her ever again, and then suddenly I realized that I was wrong to ever doubt her, that she was always on my side. My faith in Hydaelyn was restored, like a confirmation of faith. Or a child who rebelled against their parents finally understanding that they had your best interests at heart. I can't believe that the story made me feel that. Shadowbringers sowed the seeds of doubt only to restore them here. Just brilliant.

This was probably my favorite song in the expansion. Its so beautiful and well sung, the melancholy lyrics remind me a Mother greeting her child for the 1st time and that this meeting is just temporary. It really fits Venat as a character.
I swear fighting Venat reminded me so much of our fights with Zenos back in SB. So many aoes and devastating attacks coming at you from every angle 😅
