Urianger finally meets Moenbryda’s parents in person and has closure. Urianger is one of Xeno’s favorite characters in the story and this cutscene hits hard. This is part of the level 88 quest “Sage Council”. Xeno gives his first, blind reaction to the Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker story (MSQ) cutscene.

Maaan this scene always fucks me up.
I cry everytime I watch this scene.
The lopporits absolutely sucked any emotional headway (heh) out of this scene for me. I don't know why, but I cannot stand them.
"Thank god for that music change" GOD RIGHT? It dragged on for an eternity. Especially since i did all the side quests first…
This is the scene that made me cry in EW. The others made me sentimental and melancholic, but this shit tore me asunder.
Since weather is dynamic, imagine the luck of getting this scene in the rain.
Nothing ever makes me cry, and I had a hard time with this scene. I didn't even like Moenbryda lol

There are a couple of scenes that just destroy me every time I see them no matter what. The scene in HW with Count Fortemps getting the news about Haurchefant, Seto in ShB, and this one. Never fails 🥺

My heart breaks when Urianger starts to say it was his fault that she died, for having brought her in to consult them ("No, more than that… 'Twas I who")
I bawled like a baby during this scene. Endwalker is such an amazing expansion
Hey Xenosys, is there any chance you could put up the segment of Elpis where Meteion first receives the report leading into the events that are right before the dungeon? I looked through the clips on this channel and your Twitch but couldn't find it, the curated portions go from Hythlodaeus chat to end of the dungeon run with the in between missing. I mostly just want to see what your reaction was to that sequence. Guess this seems like the best place to ask, maybe it'll just pass into the abyss that is the comment section but at least I gave it a go.
i do not know what a lad is but googling it said to be a young boy 6:09 the eng version than talks about a boy in plural while in de it talks about a girl in singular and at 6:39 it talks about bridges between urianger and others but in de it they said to her "that she should rather take care of him (urianger) instead of scuffle with the other girl" Now i wonder what the original japan version says, do they talk about another girl who was mean to urianger or were multiple boys mean to urianger?
Uberdanger's shoulders must have been soooooo heavy…it takes alot to bring a man to tears……
