Really sad to see this happen
While you can tank it in the middle everyone must be on point killing the skeletons and healers must be healing, so it was a group effort but add in the tanks spinnig the boss… due to provoke.. yikes.
Auto translate was used, and several members of the alliance tried to get the tanks to listen. In the long run, a vote to abandon was done and succeeded after 6 wipes.
I haven't seen a wipe to the first boss for a long, long time. 😅 let alone that many.
To me, tanks only started pulling the dragon further a few months ago. It used to be pulled in the center and it would be a healing/dps issue. Healer not healing and dps not dps'ing the squeleton and just waiting for the dragon to get up.
I play on crystal and always saw the tanks pull it the opposite side of the room, I tried it once on Aether and we wiped twice from the tanks keeping it in the middle until the third attempt. For context I've just been playing since February on xbox so 8 months
Ya'll have some horrible que luck. In the 8 years I've been playing I've NEVER seen a group try to tank center. I didn't even know that was a thing people still did till I watched this XD
when I'm tanking and I see this happen, I steal aggro and drag em back. But then, someone decides to steal aggro from me and put him back to center. I mean, wth.
On Crystal, you get a 50/50 chance of someone either tanking it in the middle or tanking it near the back. But don't you dare say anything lest you wish another war upon your hands!
If I'm gonna be honest I've seen far more people die in the first trashpull in LoTA 😅 sometimes you enter the first set of enemies, blink and the entire party is dead!!! I still have 0 idea how that happens 😭
If this causes a party to wipe, it's probably a shit party to begin with. I've seen this as the common strat all the way up till Dawntrail. You can so easily survive all the explosions if healers actually hit buttons.
Recently had this happen. Thankfully we didn't wipe but the one tank who kept provoking and preventing other tanks from correcting the boss's positioning kept mocking people for not wanting to do it the hard way. There's no reason to make mechanics more difficult for everyone.
i main tanked for the first time in an alliance raid on a dynamis chara. i wasnt WANTING to main tank but the sprouts didnt know to take the dragon away. one person said to dps faster like. ok 😂😂😂 it'll work if u aren't considering newbies + casuals
shout out to just me and the DRK in another CT raid being the only two people in cerburuses belly lmao
I'm usually the one tank that didn't pull because the other two fought for aggro thinking, " That speedrun strat. is bullshit and was never consistent, stop doing it! Also, stop fighting for aggro, you're both looking like idiots to everyone else!
When I off tank, im trying to help as much as possible. On bone dragon, I'm grabbing the skeletons at center. I hardly see any OT do that. Makes that raid go so much smoother.
Just did a raid where B sprout tank kept pulling aggro and being in the middle. Dude really wanted to be in the actual center of attention. My party started making bets as we moved into each fight lol

A typical day on Dynamis
The first time it happened to me, I was told it was a rite of passage.

of all the wipes I've seen in crystal tower I don't think I've ever in my life seen someone NOT pull bone dragon away from the center
That explains why all the tanks in Light pull to the other side of the room
I was in a similar situation where I watched in horror as the alliance killed all the ice during the Amon fight.

Ive only seen this happen one time and I was so confused 😅

We always tanked it center. I really hate when they want to pulll it out of center no matter the job im playing.
CT in the early morning, are sh1t.

Okay that’s a new one. Never seen that happen in 4+ years of playing.
This a pretty old strat. At this points, if your gear is good and your healers arent asleep, it doesnt matter where he is tanked

Back when I was on Aether, this was constant. I've seen it happen exactly once since I moved to Chaos.
Different mindset, I guess.
This literally happened to me yesterday LOL

"WELCOME TO THE BONE ZONE!"
I was in a LotA alliance that went so badly that I saw the last boss' bacon criss-cross attack but holy SHIT how??
Bone Dragon is, oddly enough, the only boss in the entire Crystal Tower trilogy that I’ve never been slaughtered by.
With any kind of luck, I’ll keep up that winning streak!

I like the response to asking them to kindly pull the bone dragon to the edge of the field with "DER HEALZER KIN COPE"…while the healers are dead.

Classic move : )))
You and your alliance might be genuinely bad in this game if you struggle with Bone Dragon in the center.
