Garlemald might be the darkest FFXIV gets. Even moreso than the early parts of Shadowbringers.
I actually failed that section in Garlemald twice as well, once because I grabbed one too many mobs, and the second time at the end where you have to button mash because I clicked off my game to reply to someone in discord, I was not expecting to have to do that
In from the cold…. a couple words ill never forget between the emotional rollercoaster, and the sense of utter dread while doing that solo duty….
The Garlemald solo duty was absurdly difficult and I remember I think it took me like 3 or 4 tries to get it. They did a really good job of making us feel smol and weak xD

In from the Cold is the old reason I won't ever make another alt for a while… two times running that duty is enough anxiety for me. I know they patched it to be less tedious since launch, but still no thank you
