Welcome to FFXIV. I've played both (and many other MMORPGs) and I honestly think FFXIV is the best game of that type out there. I'm pretty casual though. Nice video, man!

I’ve always wondered about the difference between end game raids in wow vs ffxiv.

I didn't know WOW used to have 10-player raids. This has always been a gripe I have with WOW. The raids are too big for them to do any sort of tight mechanics. In 14, when you do extreme and above usually you have personal responsibility, as in you will have to handle this mechanic and you will need to be precise or you affect the whole raid. In wow the mechanics can usually be handled by 2-3 players (in a raid with tons of players) and so often it doesn't feel like you are doing much to overcome the enemy.
I hope you find what you are looking for with that anime crap. I quit wow too but i cannot get into that style at all so I walked away and hit the gym… much better choice! Good luck in your journey!
Glad to see so many ppl enjoying the game. Im a ff14 vet, but i dont hate wow. Id play it if i didnt hear everyone say no one has any patience. Things like dropping raids first deaths is foreign to me, im used to people being nice unless your just actively terrible. If you havent already, look up hud customization videos, without addons its tricky, but theres plenty you can do to make the hud far more workable and concise.
Welcome to ffxiv. I hope you really enjoy it. Just to let you know, there is 24 man raids in the game. Give it time and patience and you will see it soon enough.
