E12 is definitely one of my favorite story raids in the game. The incredible music, Ryne's VA, the combination of primal attacks from the previous fights… it all comes together so well!
The theme that plays during E9 and E10 is called "don't be afraid" and it's the battle theme for the original FFVIII
The power of being roommates and gal pals saves the day!
The directional mechanics of Eden's Promise: Litany (E10), Backward/Forward Shadow Implosion and Left/Right Shadow Slash, are based on where the shadows of Shadowkeeper appear. In normal, the shadows appear on each cardinal direction (North/East/South/West) regardless of where the boss is facing. The direction it spawns acts as the Shadowkeeper's back-side and the empty opposite side of the shadow its front-side.
For example: if the shadow spawns on West and the boss is casting Right Shadow Slash, it means the shadow of the boss is facing East and Shadow Slash will hit the South half of the arena. (example shown at: 43:58)
The way I think about this mechanic is by orienting my camera in the same direction as where the shadow faces and determining which half of the arena it's actually going hit and moving to the opposite side. Since the mechanic can happen back-to-back in normal, finding the first safe spot and then orienting the camera to the next shadow helped me find the next safe spot and quickly relocate to dodge the second hit. Staying close to the center of the arena also helps move quickly to a different quadrant. Hopefully my explanation helped someone understand the mechanic! I know it can be confusing because one of my friends did not know how to do the mechanic for the life of them.
Pssst…. I heard that you are looking to pilot your own skyslipper……
Rumor has it that you can get one from E4S….
As with all Savage fights that have mounts as rewards, it is a guaranteed drop….
All you have to do is roll higher than everyone else….
1:00:56 YOU’RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE… WH0R*!!!
I just can’t unheard it 😭😭😭😭
Artemis and Gaia are prime example of toxic relationship, ngl. Good for Gaia to drop him and go to her new gf (and I'm not talking about Guardian Force ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) )
Oh yeah, and music from E11 is called "Legendary Beast" by Nobuo Uematsu – it's a theme of Greiver – Guardian Force born from Squall's mind and representation of the Ultimate Guardian Force (basically FFVIII version of Primals – they live in people's minds and allow them to junction magic) – that makes Fatebreaker fight a fairly subtle reference to FFVIII. In addition – main villain's name in FFVIII is Ultimecia but apparently in japanese pronounced as "Artemisia", which, well, makes her closer to Artemis. And Eternity is an old depiction of Artemis of Ephesus pretty much.
Also song itself (legendary Beast) when it goes for chorus, reminds me of Demon's Souls for some reason.
17:25 — The trick is to stay put on one tile. When it turnes pink you switch to the next. If you stand on a tile with another person, the tile turns pink faster – in savage it breaks after a second if you dont re-adjust.
20:55 — Of course we keep her around: ever since ARR, we have her as a minion ^.^
1:01:00 — You see Thancred but you dont see Ranjit? … Okay.
1:13:14 — Look at it from this perspective: now you know, you can fall off the edge ^.^
1:22:28 — I mean… you are only 7 and knowing you, you went it there with No-Echo and min-iLvl, soooooo… good luck.
1:41:54 — Kill Titan on savage and you'll get your very own Skyslipper 😛
