Nice to see new players enjoying the game! A couple things you might want to know… up in the left corner under your main quest is that Way of the Gladiator quest. Your class quests show up there, and it's super important to do them. You aren't going to gain any more abilities from leveling up; you must continue that questline to pick up all the abilities you're missing and all the ones that you will get in the future.
Second, your attacks only do damage if you do them in the right order. It's a 1-2-3 combo of Fast Blade, Riot Blade, Rage of Halone. Hitting Riot Blade or Rage over and over is very low damage. You'll see an immediate difference if you do 1-2-3 in order.
And finally, the healer was actually doing an okay job under the circumstances. Tanks can't avoid attacks by running around the boss like it's Dark Souls. All that happens is that his swipe attacks hit the whole party instead of just you, giving the healer a lot more work! Even if it's more exciting to run around, what people want (and expect) from a tank is that you face the boss towards the edge of the arena and keep him stationary. DPS players also can't get their bonus damage for hitting the boss from a specific direction if the tank is moving him all over.
This was a very fun boss and also the first one I had any struggle against
