This Grind Might Take Years… – Getting Every Achievement in FFXIV #04

The angriest Lalafell is back with a vengeance and a long list of hunt marks to slaughter. How many achievements can we get in Final Fantasy XIV this week? A lot. How much can we mess around and be silly? SO MUCH.

  1. doing old extremes and raids have some easy to get completion achievements. at least if you run it unsyncd. you could also get all the triple triad cards. getting cards 1-312 gets you an achievement and a mount. And you'll probably have to do stuff that would give achievements….

  2. This past week, inspired by your video i cleaned up my missing hunt marks as well as finishing my missing boss fate. Ive also have started to do my ocean fishing achievements. Ive gotten 215 points since your last video reaching rank 127 on my server.

  3. as he talks about dropping rare things off raid bosses… This used to be a thing. The final loots would have a rare item that could be used by crafters to make epic furniture. Btu that practice went away because no one really cared about them.

  4. as a note, red mages are always a good dance partner ! they can make full use of the buffs as their bursts line up well with dancer. otherwise whoever's got the highest hp usually means best gear, and as such, best partner o7

  5. Since last week's video, I have crafted my 30th, and then 70th unique armorer recipes, synthesized my 1000th level 81-90 recipes with armorer, crafted my 3000th HQ item as armorer, killed my 100th A rank in Endwalker regions, finished paths 9 to 12 + map completion in Aloalo Island, finished my dragoon anima and completed part 3 of the Manderville dragoon weapon. Currently sitting at 17,540 points (Lalachievement scoring system), or 18,615 points (ingame score). Achievement hunting sure is a lot of work, isn't it?

  6. "S ranks have specific conditions that need to be fulfilled before they spawn", here I thought I was just unlucky and missed 95% of them due to being a day player on my server, if nothing else looking at the requirements it explains why I barely see any of the ones in Thanalan, "complete all FATE events on the map for an hour" for Southern Thanalan, that's just evil

  8. It's funny how everyone was excited for the ilevel requirement for alliance roulette making anything other than CT more common. Surprise! It's still only ever CT. I sat in queue for the last nier raid for hours yesterday as a healer and it didn't pop. I still havent finished that questline.

  9. Someone on crystal actually was hosting min ilv stormblood extremes this past week in pf. I'd only ever had done them unsynced so that was really fun! Byakko kicked our asses the most hehe

Also yeah. Stone Vigil also made me quit ffxiv because i was a new sprout whm and i had a tank refusing to do anything but wall to wall. And i had forgotten to do my latest job quest, so no regen. It was a disaster and i thought i would never be good at this game. Glad my friend convinced me to come back though because its my life now lol

  10. I totally agree with the rare mounts or furniture in alliance raids. The hype of seeing one drop would be so cool. They should also do the same with dungeons. Still don't understand why Ala Migo is the only dungeon with a mount

  11. i'm with you on the rare drops idea… they already do it for minions which is fine, but imagine if they brought back the dungeon mount from Ala Mhigo or as you said more furnishing and just glam in general… great way to run old content!

  12. jfc that CRAP CRAP CRAP chocobomusic moment made me bust my sides laughing. Another stellar entry into the achievement grind catalog. Looking forward to the next one. Wish I could catch more streams, but I'm always working on Sundays and so i have to catch your rare weekday ones if possible.

  13. I'm not the one in the video, but I'm also an Ultimate Thrillseeker that still goes to S Ranks. I do it because I spawn stuff and at this point like 90% of my friends in game are other hunt people. Depending on where it is in the patch cycle it's also very good money!

  14. Just to reiterate from my comment last video, if you want to go for Ultimate Thrillseeker your pace will pick up a lot once Dawntrail drops because of double instances and everyone coming back for the new expansion

  15. I love achievement hunting and I have a roughly 4 hour drive as part of my job 3 days a week, including a friday. Obviously, do what works best for you, but I certainly wouldn't mind longer videos!
