  1. i still find it odd that square doesnt offer ppl like papachin a freelance VFX job. They clearly love the game and are able to make worderfull works. If they just offered them a job so they could make it legit for the game, would that not be insane?

    Personally, I feel that the combat sense of impact and skill sound effect in version 4.0 was the best(especially vanilla SAM). Ever since the GNB sound effects were modified once in version 5.0, their design of sound effects has become increasingly conservative.

    As a result, the sound effect designs of the new jobs in versions 6.0 and 7.0 are extremely lacking in combat sense of impact. Even though they have already added some default screenshake in version 7.0.

    I hope they can pay more attention to this aspect in the future.🙏

  3. Modder here: the reason the AoE’s don’t follow character is to show where the instance of AoE Damage occurs. While this is a reason, it’s a trade off that many find not preferable. They should fix this in the games settings tbh.

    The number of binder shenanigans modders have to fix is unreal.
